Hi Erica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always been drawn to structure, growth, and reinvention.
My career began inside global brands — including Disney, Hilton, UPS, Viking Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, and Re/Max — where I worked as a Digital Growth Partner and strategist within Fortune 50 environments. That experience taught me how real authority is built: through positioning, systems, and long-term brand equity — not noise.
At the same time, I was building something of my own.
I became a certified professional organizer, helping clients create clarity in their physical spaces — which eventually evolved into helping entrepreneurs create clarity in their businesses. I’ve always believed structure creates freedom.
After years working with major brands, I transitioned fully into entrepreneurship and built a location-independent business of my own — living in luxury resorts, traveling globally, and proving that success doesn’t require louder marketing or constant online hustle.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but I wouldn’t trust advice from someone whose path was.
I built my early career inside large, globally recognized brands where there were teams, budgets, and infrastructure. Transitioning from that world into entrepreneurship required a complete identity shift. Suddenly, I wasn’t just the strategist — I was the marketing department, operations team, and visionary all at once.
One of the biggest challenges was unlearning hustle culture. The online business space rewards visibility, noise, and constant output. For years, I experimented with launches, content volume, and scaling models that looked good on paper but didn’t align with the kind of life I wanted.
There were seasons of overextension, rebuilding, and refining. I’ve restructured offers. I’ve walked away from revenue streams that didn’t feel aligned. I’ve rebuilt positioning from scratch when I realized it wasn’t precise enough.
Another challenge was recognizing that growth isn’t linear. There are expansion seasons and recalibration seasons. Instead of fighting that rhythm, I learned to design my business around sustainability — not adrenaline.
What those challenges gave me, though, is discernment. I now help my clients avoid years of unnecessary complexity because I’ve already tested what works — and what only looks impressive.
The road wasn’t smooth.
But it was intentional.
And that makes all the difference.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t think luck has been the deciding factor in my life or business — but timing and contrast have shaped me.
There have been seasons where everything expanded quickly — big brand partnerships, strong revenue, the freedom to live and work anywhere. From the outside, that can look like luck.
But there have also been quieter seasons. Times when things slowed, when I had to rethink my positioning, rebuild financially, or recalibrate personally. Those periods weren’t glamorous. They required restraint, discipline, and a willingness to simplify instead of scramble.
What some might call “bad luck” — economic shifts, industry changes, personal transitions — forced me to become more precise. Less reactive. Less performative. More intentional about how I build and who I serve.
If luck played a role at all, it’s this: I’ve been willing to pivot before resentment set in. I’ve been willing to close chapters without dramatics. And I’ve been willing to take responsibility for my own positioning instead of waiting to be discovered.
I don’t build around luck. I build around leverage, clarity, and clean decisions.
And over time, that compounds.
