Hi Ethan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Ethan Booklall. I am 22 years old. My entrepreneurship started at 18 when I noticed all my friends sitting around, wanting nothing more than to chill for the day. One person who helped me grow my business and hustle mentality was Nick Khargie. I never told anyone this, but I reached out to him privately around 2018 and asked him if I could join his inner circle of like-minded people and growth so it would force me to change for the better. It allows me to work for and on his AutoClub Transport company, showing me the ins and outs and making me understand what it will take.
To be successful on my own. I currently trade the Foreign Exchange market in the mornings, working from my phone. Trading has been a passion of mine for almost 3 years now; going through different courses and, sadly, MLMs to learn and experience what trading is. Its been about 2 years of trading on my own, and it helped with becoming my boss from being in check with all my emotions and not letting a loss affect me too, waking up every morning knowing what has to be done and no one is going to tell you to do it. I run a trash bin cleaning company with my father named Excel Bin Cleaning Services in Clermont, Florida. As a family-owned local company, we aim to disinfect and clean residential and commercial garbage bins with 212-degree pressurized water from our particular truck. We currently care for the Clermont area and the surrounding cities with the best prices and services. I manage everything behind the scenes of Excel Bin Cleaning, from calls, questions, marketing, hiring, etc. Excel Bin Cleaning was started, so my sibling and I could see our dad more; his old job had him out of the house at 4 am and back at 8 pm to sleep, and it was like this for 10+ years.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be anywhere if it wasn’t for how hard-working my dad is to care for and provide for our family. That’s why I am working so hard to be able to retire both of my parents so they can enjoy the fruits of my labor. Once the snowball on Excel Bin Cleaning got rolling, we were able to anchor down and get to work, doing as much as I could to grow the business as best as possible. Our hours being 8-6 pm keeps us busy throughout the day, but I still explore different ventures and business opportunities. I am starting up another business in Clermont and surrounding areas, along with Excel Bin Cleaning. Some other things, too, but I can’t spill all my beans. It was a long path to get to where I am today; it wasn’t the most direct path. I’m no superhuman, so I would get unmotivated when it came to doing certain things, stop paying attention to my sleep schedule, wake up late, and miss trades. I surround myself with like-minded people who want more than just financial freedom; we want to leave an empire of greatness behind.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenge of keeping yourself disciplined is the biggest thing; you are the reason you reach success or failure. I faced many struggles starting my trading career. We faced multiple challenges without business, from covid-19, raising prices on our expenses ( gas doubled), and competitors, but our customers helped and supported us as much as possible by leaving reviews and posting about us on their local Facebook page. I was led down the path of MLM, not knowing I was wasting 6 months of my time and money on not learning to trade.
