Community Highlights: Meet Georgia Defrancisco of I Said Yes! and I Said Yes! to Success

Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgia Defrancisco

Hi Georgia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As the CEO of our family of businesses, I oversee both I Said Yes! and I Said Yes! to Success. In 2019, my husband and I purchased a company and quickly rebranded it to I Said Yes!, transforming it into a multi-platform marketing business focused on the wedding industry. Through online listings, social media, and networking events, we find joy in helping our members succeed in growing their businesses.

Most of our members are small business owners who face the common challenges of limited time and overwhelming workloads, leaving little room to focus on growth and sales. Recognizing this need, we launched our second venture, I Said Yes! to Success, in 2023. This expert team of virtual assistants is dedicated to providing comprehensive support, empowering our clients to step out of daily operations and fully embrace their roles as CEOs.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life and business are rarely smooth roads. Like any entrepreneur, we’ve encountered our share of highs and lows, successes and failures. Each challenge has been an opportunity to grow, innovate, and reinforce our commitment to helping our clients and members thrive. For us, it’s about maintaining focus on our goals and finding the best ways to support our community, even when the path isn’t always straightforward.

If I had to name a specific struggle, it’s the continued balance of resources and decisions, ensuring our investments align with both our mission and financial goals.

As you know, we’re big fans of I Said Yes! and I Said Yes! to Success. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Our companies, I Said Yes! and I Said Yes! to Success, offer a unique and comprehensive approach to supporting businesses in their growth.

At I Said Yes! to Success Virtual Assistant Services, we lift the weight of administrative tasks and daily operations off our clients’ shoulders, freeing them to focus on what truly matters: driving sales, business development, and creating the life they envision. Our team of expert virtual assistants steps in to wear all the hats, allowing clients to fully embrace their roles as CEOs. We’re proud to help our clients reclaim their time and focus, setting them up for sustainable growth and success.

I Said Yes! is designed specifically for the wedding industry, bridging connections between wedding businesses, engaged couples, and other wedding professionals. Through our innovative platforms—including online listings, social media, and monthly networking events—we provide valuable opportunities for both business-to-consumer and business-to-business collaboration and growth. Our mission is to empower wedding professionals with the resources and visibility they need to thrive.

We’re most proud of the supportive community we’ve created across both brands, built on our core values of passion, integrity, success, and celebration. We’re here to help our clients and members achieve their business goals while making meaningful connections along the way.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Oooh, this is an interesting question! To me, ‘our city’ includes not only Orlando’s downtown but also all the surrounding communities like Lake Nona, Clermont, Winter Garden, Winter Park, and Sanford. Each of these areas has its own unique character, yet they’re all connected under the umbrella of Greater Orlando. I love how each community offers something distinct while still feeling like part of a larger whole. I live in Clermont, but when I say ‘Downtown,’ I’m referring to downtown Orlando.

Ironically, the expansive nature of our city is also what I like least. Orlando feels much larger than it appears on a map, and the traffic often reflects that. The fact that it can take an hour to travel from Orlando to Orlando is both a testament to its size and a challenge for those of us who navigate it regularly.
