Today we’d like to introduce you to Gisela Rivera.
Hi Gisela, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved to the United States in December 2013, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant in a tax office for the tax season 2014, In the following years, I worked for different companies during tax seasons until I started the company in December 2017. That was my dream, I wanted to own my business and have the freedom to manage my schedule and share a lot of time with my son. I was also able to bring my mom to help me grow my business and she has been a great asset to the company. She brings so much energy and drive to the business. Also, in order for me to advance my company, I am enrolled in business and accounting school and this allowed me not only to become more knowledgeable about my career but also more confident and professional which allows me to provide better service to my clients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, any start-up business is always a struggle in the beginning; there were many ups and downs and I managed to survive them and focus on improving the quality of the customer service. Money was scarce I had to be creative and use my available credit cards and my savings to get through the first few months. We also had to stay competitive by going above and beyond for our customers to win their trust and referrals. The office was open 7 days a week and 10 to 12 hours a day and accommodate any appointment, by the way, we are still practicing the same level of customer service.

We are a tax preparation business, we offer high-quality service for filing taxes for individuals and businesses. We are open full-time for tax season and off-season our customers can make appointments and get in contact with us every day.
We are always a phone call away, as you may know, the tax business is all year round and it’s very complex and our customers need someone they can trust and get hold of right away when they have any question or concern.
We make ourselves available at no charge during the off-tax season which sets us apart from the competition.
What matters most to you?
What really matters to us, is the trust and the repeat business we get from our customers. Our main goal every day is to make sure we take good care of our customers by exceeding their expectations so they can give us another chance the next year.
