Community Highlights: Meet Heidi Brumbach of Be Well TV

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Brumbach.

Hi Heidi, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Heidi Brumbach, Founder and President of Be Well TV and Technisch Creative.

I grew up a dancer and pursued a professional career at 18 years old. I performed in theme parks, cruise ships, tv shows and ended my performing career as a dancer and magic assistant in Las Vegas with Seigfried and Roy. As a performer, I was exposed to all kinds of events. I performed at huge conventions, fashion shows, retirement homes, high-roller VIP parties, and trade shows. I found my next passion in the events industry. After nearly ten years as a professional, I retired my dance shoes, filed paperwork with the State of Nevada, joined the Chamber of Commerce, and my event business was open. AFTER that, I went back to college to learn how to manage an event and run a business.

It wasn’t a traditional entrance into the world of business, but after 20 years of figuring things out and taking lots of chances, I built an award-winning, successful event production company. Technisch Creative works with clients to “turn their meeting into a show” all over the world. We produce engaging meetings for primarily corporations and associations with our internal audiovisual department and entertainment background. With headquarters now in one of the top convention destinations in the world (Orlando, FL), 2020 was going to be our best year ever.

Covid 19 and lockdowns all over the world prompted 95% of our contracts to cancel and anticipated revenue to vanish. We immediately started to brainstorm a new line of business that would satisfy a need to the public and utilize our skills and resources. Without question, one thing everyone needs during a pandemic is to be well. Obviously, everyone wants to avoid a dangerous virus. But that’s not the only concern with wellness. Everyone is in a different position with their wellness, whether they are seeking physical wellness, financial wellness, mental wellness, or something else. And that is true with or without the threat of a virus. And so Be Well TV was born.

Having already built out the studio space and developed the skills of our staff, the basic needs of producing content was already available. I started making lists of topics that help people with their wellness. Then I created a list of experts that can talk about those topics. Next, I built a list of contacts that can help advise us in all areas of broadcasting. While we’re still in the early stages of building Be Well TV, we have a wonderful combination of skills, tools, and passion that will make it successful.

When I talk about Be Well TV, it’s easy to make it sound like a selfless, altruistic, noble initiative that is designed to help people in their time of need. I hope that the concept accomplishes that. The truth is, the concept was created for me. I’ve gone through periods of depression, desperation, anger, self-destruction, resentment, misery, and hopelessness. But I know I’m not the only one, so I’m offering what I can to the world, should anyone be interested. I don’t feel like I’ve reached the top, but I’m learning a lot on the journey and if anyone can benefit from my mistakes and/or my accomplishments, I’m happy to share.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not smooth! One of the biggest struggles has been in the last 18 months. In order to deal with the loss of business, we’ve learned new skills, created something new, and marketed our new business, a process that would normally take years.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In 2020, Be Well TV was launched as an online resource that carries programming to help viewers improve their overall wellness. Our goal is to reach every person in the world to promote wellness for the “whole” you. The programming includes expert guidance on such topics as physical health, relationships, career, finance, and more.

Overall, wellness is a personal journey for every individual. It encompasses your emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as your physical state. As the desire to Be Well has increased, it has grown to consider a wide range of interconnected aspects affecting people’s lives.

In December 2021, Be Well TV will produce the first Be Well Con, the inaugural event to invite people into the next generation of Health and Wellness. They will step into a day full of inspiration, fitness, and regeneration for the Mind, Body, and Spirit.
