Jacob, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We began our family business in early 2020 with the hopes of providing additional income beyond what I make at the fire department as a Firefighter/EMT. This just so happened to be soon after my wife, Danielle, had to resign from her Firefighter/Paramedic position after she was injured on the job. Our family of 3, going on 4 with a baby girl on the way, needed additional income. So, we started External Wash! I had many experiences in pressure washing and knew we had to invest in the biggest and best equipment in order to be competitive & be able to wash everything from small residential to large apartment complexes.
Over a year later, we have grown into one of Central Florida’s most well-known pressure washing companies and have cleaned countless residential homes and numerous large apartment complexes. Most recently, Integra 360 apartment complex in Winter Springs, FL. We specialize in roof cleaning, paver sealing, and remove organic growth from driveways, house siding, windows, gutters and skylights. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Getting large commercial accounts Struggles with high cost of advertising online and social platforms. Realizing the high cost of insurance for our industry, luckily, we have been fortunate enough not to be affected by this and are able to be 100% insured.
