Hi Jasmin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. A few years after graduating in 2015, I started my online swimwear boutique, Everything Swimwear. Throughout the years, Everything Swimwear has been successful, but it was time for something new after giving birth to my daughter in 2019. A month before having my daughter, I purchased my first property and fell in love with Real Estate and the financial benefits/wealth it brings to our lives. In 2020, I obtained my Mortgage Loan Originator license; when I got this license, business was booming because interest rates were at a historic low. Once rates started to pick back up in 2022, business slowed down, and I had to find another way to supplement my income. I did not want to leave the real estate industry because I was passionate about this, so I decided to get my Real Estate license. Today I am both a Mortgage Loan Originator and a Realtor, and let me tell you, I love it! I love helping others achieve their dreams of homeownership. I am also bilingual and tailor my services to my Hispanic community. The most rewarding thing about my job is assisting others to create generational wealth and achieve financial success.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When the interest rates started to increase late last year, business declined, but luckily, I could navigate the challenges and find a solution by becoming a realtor. In addition to that, I joined a Mortgage Company that offered more programs so I could cater to a variety of clientele. Adapting to changing market conditions and turning obstacles into opportunities was crucial.
We’ve been impressed with JasminCalle.com, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart?
Being a bilingual mortgage loan originator and a realtor sets me apart because I bring dual expertise. I know what it takes to buy a home from start to finish. I can offer a more comprehensive and valuable service to my clients by having this combined expertise, which can save them time and money in the long run. Regarding mortgages, I can originate loans in all of the US except NY. As for Real Estate, I am licensed in Florida.
