Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelton Ivers-Osthus.
Hi Kelton, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started when I was young. I was born in Melbourne, FL, and thanks to my parents, my siblings and I grew up going to theme parks. Throughout my young life, I figured out that the life I wanted to pursue was that of Hospitality. After graduating from Brevard Community College, I attended the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College, UCF’s hospitality school, and shortly after that, was becoming employed by the Disney Company! I worked for Walt Disney World from 2012 through 2017, and my jobs consisted of selling ice cream on Main Street, USA. To escort guests safely on the roads throughout the Walt Disney World property on Disney’s transport system as a bus driver, cooking for our hotel guests at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Within that same timeframe, I also had the opportunity to work for Universal Studios Orlando as an attraction attendant. The area I worked was Jurassic Park, at the attraction of Pteranodon Flyers, within Camp Jurassic. I was also allowed to assist with the Universal Studios Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. At that time, I achieved a lot that the younger me wanted to do. Because of what I had the chance to do, I decided to take the knowledge of what I know and assist people from across the United States with planning their vacations! As I was researching travel agencies (you all, travel agents, are not dead!) I came across Fairytale Journeys. After reading about the company, and the owner, Susanne Hays, I applied to be an agent within the agency. After a fantastic interview with Susanne, she agreed I would be a great fit within the agency.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The greatest achievements in life are always challenging and challenging. Life, in general, throws many curveballs, and it is on you to figure out how to overcome all obstacles. In this instance, this is starting a new business. There are always struggles in building that clientele and being that person that someone can trust. Like right now, business is slow as I am still building up my client list. It will come with time, but that is always hard to overcome.

My business is Fairytale Journeys by Kelton, and I am a travel agent! I specialize in Disney Destinations, Universal Studios Orlando, Royal Caribbean International, and Sandals Beach Resorts. I help my clients book their trips and anything they may need from when they book to when they return home. I have worked for Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando and cruised on Royal Caribbean multiple times! What sets me apart from others is my background and knowledge of the things I sell.
A Disney / Universal vacation sometimes is more exhausting in the planning stages than the actual trip itself. This is where I come in as a travel planner! It is part of my duty to assist you on your vacation as little or as much as you want! I am here to help you with whatever you may need! I can now assist in Disney Destinations, Universal Studios Orlando, Royal Caribbean International, and Sandals Beach Resorts!

My clients matter to me. You are spending hard-earned cash on a nice vacation for you and your family. Why not utilize someone extremely knowledgeable about where you want to vacation but dedicated to assisting you? Do you need restaurants booked for your special day in EPCOT? I’ll be up at 6:00 AM to book those for you! Was there an issue with transportation to/from MCO? I will be there to help fight to get you what you need!
