Hi Keosha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have a rich background in healthcare, beginning my career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and rising to become the Director of Admissions for one of the largest senior nursing facilities in Florida.
In 2014, I launched my first business, Fantastic Touch, a cleaning service that marked the start of my entrepreneurial journey. From there, I expanded into the beauty industry, creating multiple small businesses catering to women such undergarments and weightloss services.
In 2019, I ventured into real estate investing, focusing on buying and flipping mobile homes. Deu to Covid that industry took a decline in profit not being able to get materials ans supplies to complete the projects. By 2022, I opened a Black-owned post-surgical spa in St. Petersburg, FL, dedicated to supporting women’s weight loss and cosmetic recovery.
While running the spa, a client introduced me to the field of professional tax preparation in 2021.I excelled in the industry, becoming a six-figure earner and building a team of over 100 partners. Today, I own and operate two tax service locations in St. Petersburg and Lakeland, FL, and continues to expand my business empire.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Throughoutmy journey, I faced significant challenges that shaped my resilience and determination. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2022 brought unprecedented hurdles, impacting my businesses and testing her adaptability. Financing my ventures out of pocket added financial strain, while simultaneously navigating personal struggles, including health issues and a toxic divorce. During this time, I also battled anxiety and depression, yet I persevered, using these experiences as fuel to grow stronger and more determined to achieve my goals. My story is one of grit and overcoming adversity, inspiring others to push forward despite life’s obstacles.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was for my friendly and loving personality, balanced with an independent and bossy nature that emerged even in childhood. Growing up, I was driven and motivated, always eager to help others. I was constantly smiling and full of joy, often “cheesing” in front of the camera. I loved taking pictures, playing dress-up with my mom, and embracing moments of creativity and fun.
My parents instilled in me the values of honesty and staying true to myself, ensuring I had access to the best schools and was always dressed nicely. They also emphasized the importance of modesty and femininity, shaping me into a confident and grounded woman. These formative experiences fueled my passion for excellence and my lifelong commitment to empowering others.
