Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda Engram.
Hi Linda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into entrepreneurship really began with my desire to create a more meaningful and balanced life—not just for myself, but for others as well. As a mom, I understand firsthand how valuable time is and how easily it can be consumed by the day-to-day demands of work and life.
With over 15 years of experience in operations and project management, I’ve spent much of my career helping businesses run more efficiently behind the scenes. I saw a consistent pattern—talented business owners were overwhelmed with operational chaos, leaving them with little time to focus on growth, creativity, or even their personal lives.
That realization led me to start my business. I wanted to give people back the luxury of time—the freedom to focus on what truly matters, whether that’s scaling their business, spending time with family, or simply having the space to think and lead more effectively.
Today, through Elly Virtually, I help growing organizations streamline their operations, implement effective systems, and create structure that supports sustainable growth. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that the work we do not only improves businesses, but also impacts the lives behind them.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road and I think that’s true for most entrepreneurs. Building something meaningful always comes with its share of challenges.
In the early stages, one of the biggest hurdles was balancing everything. As a mom, while also building a business, there were moments where time felt stretched in every direction. I had to learn quickly how to prioritize, set boundaries, and be intentional with where my energy went.
Another challenge was shifting from being an operator behind the scenes to stepping fully into a leadership role as a business owner. I was comfortable executing but building a brand, putting myself out there, and trusting others to take on responsibilities required a different level of growth.
There were also the typical growing pains—refining systems, finding the right clients, and ensuring that the services I offered truly delivered value and results. But each challenge helped shape the business into what it is today. Looking back, those moments weren’t setbacks they were necessary steps that strengthened both the business and my ability to lead it with clarity and purpose.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Elly Virtually?
At Elly Virtually, we specialize in transforming operational chaos into streamlined, scalable systems that allow businesses to grow with clarity and confidence. We partner primarily with service-based and growing organizations that are ready to move beyond the overwhelm and step into structured, sustainable operations.
Our work sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. We don’t just advise, we build, implement, and manage. This includes end-to-end operations management, project and event management, workflow optimization, and the development of automated client onboarding systems. From mapping out internal processes to leading complex projects and ensuring seamless delivery, we serve as both a strategic partner and an operational backbone for our clients.
What sets us apart is our hands-on approach. With over 15 years of experience in operations and project management, I bring both high-level strategic thinking and real-world execution into every engagement. We are not a plug-and-play solution—we take the time to understand each client’s vision, then build systems and processes that align with how they actually work and want to grow.
We’re also deeply focused on giving our clients something that often gets overlooked—the luxury of time. By creating efficient systems, strong operational foundations, and reliable execution, we allow business owners to shift their focus back to leadership, innovation, and the parts of their business that truly matter.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is the trust we’ve built with our clients. We are known for being dependable, thoughtful, and results-driven. Our clients know that when we step in, things get organized, projects move forward, and operations become significantly easier to manage.
Ultimately, I want readers to know that Elly Virtually is more than an operations service—we are a partner in growth. Whether it’s refining workflows, managing large-scale projects, or building systems that support long-term success, our goal is to help businesses operate at a higher level without sacrificing their time, energy, or vision.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I appreciate most about the Orlando area is the energy and diversity of the business community. There’s a strong sense of growth, innovation, and collaboration here especially among entrepreneurs and service-based businesses. It’s a place where people are building, evolving, and open to new ideas, which creates so many opportunities to connect and make an impact. At the same time, being based just outside the city in Groveland allows me to enjoy a quieter environment while still being close to that vibrant ecosystem. It offers a great balance between focus and accessibility.
If I had to mention a challenge, it would be how fast-paced and competitive the area can be. With so many businesses growing at once, it’s easy for operations to become overwhelming without the right systems in place. But in many ways, that’s also what makes the work we do so valuable, we’re able to help businesses bring structure and clarity in the middle of that growth.
