Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynn Wisniewski.
Lynn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After bringing my beautiful son into the world, my own world was falling apart—I was facing a divorce. It was one of the most painful and uncertain times of my life, yet also one of the greatest gifts. In the midst of it all, I took a leap and purchased my family’s business. What started as a simple decision became my sanctuary—a space filled with light, creativity, and healing. When my infant son was with his dad, I poured myself into this place, transforming it into something truly special, not just for me, but for everyone who walked through its doors. What started as a small idea grew into a thriving artist consignment boutique, where I not only supported other makers but also began creating the first products in my Grow Your Soul line—born from my own healing journey.
The shop was a reflection of joy and hope. The ceiling was covered in over 10,000 flowers, each with a happy thought written on it. And the name? My last name, Wisniewski, means Cherry in Polish, so Under the Cherry Blossoms felt like the perfect fit.
The shop itself had history—I had purchased it from my mom when it was still a doll shop. I saw firsthand what happens when you don’t listen to your intuition; my mom had felt the nudge to sell for years but didn’t act on it until she ended up in the hospital, which finally created the space for her to let go and thankfully she is alive and well today enjoying her freedom! I learned from her experience, and when I felt that same pull, I trusted it and acted immediately.
I listed the shop for sale, and the very next day, an amazing woman reached out. A month later, we closed the deal, and the transition felt completely aligned. She and I are still dear friends, and I continue to sell my products in Under the Cherry Blossoms.
Since then, I’ve followed where life is leading me—hosting boutique women’s retreats with a dear friend, creating community connection, and growing Grow Your Soul, which is all about helping people see and be their greatness. To me, that means recognizing the good we all possess and taking action to live our true purpose—a life we truly love.
That passion also led me to travel the world writing my book, 5 Questions, We All Have a Story, where I interviewed 72 people, asking them the same five questions—like “What gives you purpose?” and “What advice would you give to your younger self?” The experience deepened my belief in humanity and that we are all in this together.
I want all of us to live in awe and wonder of this amazing planet we call home, to embrace our purpose, and to create lives filled with meaning, connection, and joy.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has had its ups and downs yet through the difficulties I grew into who I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Grow Your Soul is about stepping into your purpose, taking action on your dreams, and creating a life that truly lights you up. I believe in following what feels right, and that’s exactly how this journey has unfolded—one inspired step at a time. Through gatherings, boutique retreats, and empowering products, I offer tools to help you gain clarity, build momentum, and stay accountable to the life you want to live. My hope is that we all live so fully and boldly that, in the end, we can say with joy, I truly lived!
How do you think about luck?
Hmmm. . .I think we create that stuff 😉
