Today we’d like to introduce you to Mateus Monteiro.
Hi Mateus, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
A little about myself, I am an architect and entrepreneur. Creator of the hospital architecture and construction office MUELLER Construções, with a post-graduate degree in Interior Design and Techniques, specializing in Product Design at the New York School of Interior Design.
In addition to architectural and interior projects, I have experience in product design and 3D photorealistic images, working in offices in the northeast and south of Brazil, as well as projects outside Brazil, in Washington, DC.
Work with builders like FG Empreendimentos de Balneário Camboriú, responsible for the tallest buildings in the country, and renowned architects like Rodrigo Kirch and Triptyque Architecture from São Paulo.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A beginning of a trajectory is never so peaceful, as the great saying goes, calm seas do not create sailors but are always a perennial path, with a lot of learning and seeking new knowledge at all times.
We’ve been impressed with OarquitetoMateus, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
@oarquitetomateus emerged in 2018 with the aim of always bringing the best of architecture to everyone, creating a niche where anyone can participate and get involved in projects and works, with greater consent on costs, new ideas, and materials that will be used, thus bringing a new design concept.
