Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Bradley.
Melody, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In telling the story of how I got to where I am today, I never quite know how far back to go. Every moment has been leading me here! I’ll do my best to keep it brief.
I grew up here in Central Florida and was blessed to live in home with both of my biological parents. We attended church every Sunday (morning and night) and Wednesday, Vacation Bible School, and any other time the doors were open. Faith, needless to say was an important role in my life. It’s from this part of me that I learned to trust in something greater than myself and know that Love is really all that is really required of us.
After graduating college, I got a job as a teacher, got married, and had a baby. Right on schedule!
Then life…
Just a few years later I found myself divorced, broken, and ashamed.
So, I tried again. New church, new husband, new baby.
At this point, I was a momma of two, married to a wonderful husband, and teaching in the private Christian school that my children attended. You would think all would be right with the world. Right?
Not so much.
I found myself having panic attacks. These would stop me in my tracks, leave me sure someone was dying, and crying uncontrollably.
One day, several years ago now, I felt one of these attacks coming on. I did NOT have time for this!
Something within me told me that if I could get in to see my chiropractor, I would be ok and would avoid this nightmare. I had no idea why at that time that he could help me with panic attacks, but I trusted my instincts.
That day, not only did I not have a panic attack but also, I felt an indescribable sense of calm. I haven’t had another attack since.
I now know that he was using tools from a modality known as the Emotion Code that helped me release the root causes of my panic attacks. I also learned that symptoms can develop from my own life experiences and/or those inherited from my ancestors. My life was forever changed.
I decided to become a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner and have the joy and honor of helping others find freedom from the blocks that have held them captive for years!
I’ve always believed in miracles.
I’ve always known that Prayer works.
I just didn’t always understand HOW. Now I do, and I’m so grateful!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No way!
The struggles of letting go of “normal”, of what’s expected of you, that’s not smooth sailing.
Questioning deeply-held principles can be painful.
When others question my intentions and faith, it hurts.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The name Just Be is a reminder to myself and my encouragement to others to let go of everything we’re “supposed to do” and … Just Be.
Through Emotion Code, as we uncover trapped emotions, subconscious programming, and limiting beliefs, we can release them and remember who we really are!
With 13+ years’ experience in education and the health and wellness field, I’ve now been able to put the 3 pieces of human wellness together to get amazing results!
We are physical beings, psychological beings, and spiritual/emotional beings.
Using tools to address all three dimensions of our human design allows us to release weight, anxiousness, dis-ease, and so much more in order to help us live life more abundantly and free!
I work with all ages from infants to people advanced in age to release potentially harmful energies and to restore balance: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Finding a mentor is truly life-sustaining as you venture into any unknown territory. I have made some of the most incredible connections and relationships by committing to growth.
There’s is always someone who knows a little more than you. Be humble and learn!
There is always someone who is a few steps behind. Slow down and teach!
What’s worked well for me?
Asking loads of questions, hiring a coach who is already where I see myself, and making intentional, authentic connections with people I enjoy being around.
