Community Highlights: Meet Nachiely Rosado Andrews of Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nachiely Rosado Andrews.

Hi Nachiely, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into the travel industry really started with something I already loved doing, traveling, planning trips, and creating experiences for my fam . During a vacation in Cancun My Wife made a joke about how should we start our own travel agency since we already travel so much and it really picked my brain. I started looking into it and eventually , I realized that something I genuinely enjoyed could become a way for me to help other people create those same memories.

That’s how Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co. came to life. Little by little the business began to grow through referrals, repeat clients, and social media. What started with personal vacations has expanded into cruises, all-inclusive resorts, family trips, honeymoons, group travel, and even larger corporate trips.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that I’ve built the business around being very hands-on with my clients. My motto is essentially, “We book as if it were our own.” I don’t want someone to feel like they’re simply a reservation number. I want to understand what they’re celebrating, what matters to them, what their budget is, and what kind of experience they want to have. I’m there through the planning process and continue to be a resource even while they’re traveling.

Social media has also become a big part of my journey. I love educating people about travel, sharing tips and deals, answering questions, and showing people that working with a travel advisor can make planning a vacation so much easier.

Today, seeing clients return to me for their second or third trip—or refer their family, friends, coworkers, and entire groups—is probably one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I’m still growing and learning, but I’m incredibly proud of how far Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co. has come and excited about where it’s going next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. I think one of the biggest challenges has been learning how much goes on behind the scenes of being a travel advisor. People often see the fun side—the vacations, beautiful destinations, cruises and resorts—but there is so much research, training, problem-solving and responsibility involved in making sure someone else’s trip goes smoothly.

Another challenge has been building trust and helping people understand the value of working with a travel advisor in a world where everyone can book something online themselves. I’ve had to learn how to market myself, build my brand, create content, network, and show people that my job isn’t simply to “book a trip.” It’s to be an advocate and resource for my clients before, during and after they travel.

Balancing entrepreneurship with my personal life and the other hats I wear has also taught me a lot about discipline and time management. There have definitely been late nights, last-minute travel issues, learning curves and moments where I questioned whether I was doing enough.

But every challenge has helped shape the way I run Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co. today. I’ve learned that I don’t have to know everything—I just have to be willing to find the answer, keep learning and show up for my clients. Seeing the referrals, repeat travelers and growth of the business has made those challenges worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co.?
Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co. is a full-service travel planning business built around one simple philosophy: “We book as if it were our own.”

I help clients plan everything from cruises and all-inclusive vacations to family trips, romantic getaways, honeymoons, group travel and corporate trips. I work with clients from the beginning stages of choosing a destination all the way through the details that come before departure, and I remain available as a resource throughout their travels.

What I believe sets Jet Lag Lovers apart is the level of personal attention I give each trip. Travel isn’t one-size-fits-all. Two people can visit the exact same destination and want completely different experiences, so I take the time to understand my clients—their budget, travel style, priorities and what they want to get out of their vacation. I also understand that affordability matters, which is why I look for options that fit different budgets and, when available, help clients take advantage of flexible payment options.

I’m also very passionate about travel education. Through social media, I share travel tips, destination information, industry updates and things travelers may not know. I want people to feel informed and confident about traveling, whether they are seasoned travelers or taking their very first trip.

What I’m most proud of, however, is the trust my clients have placed in me. Some of my business has grown from one vacation into repeat trips, referrals, families and even large groups and corporate travel. When someone trusts me with their vacation and then comes back and says, “Where are we going next?” that means more to me than simply making another booking.

At Jet Lag Lovers, I’m not just interested in where you’re going—I care about the memories you’re going to bring home. We plan. You pack. Memories last forever.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success is bigger than a number in a bank account or how many trips I book. Success is building something I’m proud of while still being present for the people and moments that matter most in my life.

Professionally, I feel successful when a client comes home from a trip excited to tell me about their experience, trusts me enough to book with me again, or refers someone they love to me. Those things tell me that I’ve built more than a business—I’ve built relationships and trust.

Success also means having the courage to continue growing. I’m constantly learning, trying new things, stepping outside of my comfort zone and setting bigger goals for myself and Jet Lag Lovers Travel Co. I don’t believe success is a final destination where you suddenly say, “I made it.” I think it’s being able to look back at where you started, appreciate how far you’ve come, and still be excited about where you’re going.

And personally, if I can build a business that gives me the freedom to create memories with my family while helping other families create memories of their own, that is success to me.
