Today we’d like to introduce you to Naseth Jean-Pierre.
Hi Naseth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in South Florida, but raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 17. Moved to Brevard County and started developing a love for the sport of basketball through watching the classic Lakers vs Celtics matchups of the early 2000’s with my cousins who were Celtics fans. I gravitated to the Lakers as my favorite team but Dwight Howard as my favorite player. I studied the game, learned the ins and outs, and became an expert of the sport, all while going to the University of Central Florida to earn a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
I liked the Psych world, but I LOVED the basketball world even more. I never knew how to get into the basketball community with little to no experience in the sport, until COVID happened and I suddenly had all the time in the world available to me to think about it. After careful consideration, I decided to pursue a life in basketball media, and from that Atleta Sports was born (formerly Hoopers Digest).
Now I do everything imaginable in the basketball world. From podcasting, to live-streaming, event coordination, and social media content management. Me along with my partners are an up-and-coming basketball business that is helping local players, coaches, and teams with the exposure they need to succeed.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Without the lucrative background, I’ve had to “get it out the mud” as they say. Early mornings and late nights is what is has taken. I’ve run into people who do not take me seriously or believe in my vision for the basketball community. But every day I gain new supporters and fans, every day I gain more respect in the basketball community around me.
With hundreds of thousands of views throughout multiple social media platforms, I’ve been able to help the underdogs of the sport grow and get one step closer o achieving their goals and that in turn has allowed me to get one step closer to my own goals each and every time.

Atleta Sports is a sports media company specializing in basketball. We offer services like: podcasting, live-streaming, social media management, standard graphic design, and more. We are primarily known for our local live-streamed events, allowing the local basketball talent and programs to showcase their work to a larger audience.
We value hard work above all else. Discipline, perseverance, work ethic, these are the things that make a successful business, athlete, employee, student, etc. What sets us apart, is that we showcase those who exhibit these qualities and allow for a worldwide audience to appreciate it and value it as much as we do,
We are proud of the support we have started to gain from the community around us. Local leagues, teams, players, coaches, referees, and much more have shown us love and support like no other. It keeps us going and it makes us feel like we are doing a great job. This pushes us to to better!
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck. I believe in destiny and karma. Everything was mean to happen the way it did. For good things to happen, you must do good things. I pride myself in always being open minded and understanding of others and situations. I give back, I spread love, I motivate those around me. There is no luck, just life running its course.
