Community Highlights: Meet Natalia Acosta of Talents for Christ, Kingdom Clothing and Accessories & Serenity Cafe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Acosta.

Hi Natalia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello my name is Natalia, I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but currently reside in Kissimmee, Florida. I moved out here in 2008 with my daughter whom was 5 years old at the time. I grew up loving music, singing, and listening to different things, I know this was a gift and a passion I had. At the time I didn’t know God and didn’t have a relationship with Him at all so when I did sing It was nothing positive but the passion was always there. Over the years I have grown in relationship with God and he gave me a heart for the youth and young adults. I knew something had to be done to capture their attention and God has placed it on my heart to reach them. This is where Talents For Christ came about:) The Lord had spoken to me back In 2007 prior to moving out here to Florida that He has blessed me with a gift and talent that I was going to use for His glory. Years later God Laid it on my heart to start events that would minister to our youth & young adults and this is open to all ministries because we are the body of Christ and should work together as the kingdom of God. Currently we are doing open mic nights once a month in different locations, wherever God opens that door for us to be. There are all kinds of people sharing their God-given gifts and talents from Worship to Praise songs, dance (lyrical, prophetic or urban), spoken word or poetry, Positive hip-hop(christian rap) instruments & more! This is about bringing the body of Christ together as ONE to glorify Him while attracting the youth/ young adults to keep them engaged and fellowship with others, outside of the church. These events on “open mic nights” are open to everyone of all ages, it’s a positive atmosphere and good way to connect with others and get to know new people🙂. we also have an online clothing shop called kingdom clothing and accessories. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever a smooth ride🙂 it requires passion, true love for people, dedication, some sleepless nights, and a lot of prayer! Let’s not forget finances too! It requires not giving up and staying focused on the vision that God has given you. I absolutely LOVE what God has placed on my heart to do, it’s my passion, I love people!

Kingdom Clothing and Accessories is an online clothing and accessories shop. our clothing sizes range from youth to adults. We carry men, woman, youth, and unisex clothing. We are a positive online shop that spreads the word of God, Positivity and the love of God. Everything we create is positive, because we understand that we are walking testimonies and people are always watching us, they read what we wear and sometimes you may be the only walking testimony others see!
