Hi Nekia, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It all started off when I said this prayer when I was,11 or 12 years of age. Lord, please allow me to be one of the people that gets to have it all. When I state ALL, I’m referring to the happiness, joy, peace, and endless connections and abundance. Not just the titles, names, and positions. So, throughout my life with that being at my forefront of course it has come with some major peaks and valleys. Sitting in my office of my dream job, or what I thought was my dream job. I had the title, the things, and the money and I was at my lowest. Unmotivated, depressed, and the heaviest I has ever been. It had to be more. I set on a journey of self-discovery and purpose. I’ve lost it all several times, but that not the worst I was severely successfully depressed living darkness with a smile. I fought hard with everything in my being to me the TRUE and HIGHEST VERSION OF MYSELF. I became my best at what was set up to be my lowest moments. I started diving deep into getting to the root and core of my generational traumas. I started producing from a place of peace and internal abundance. I birthed multiple streams of income through my many gifts. I now help others do the same by Transforming their lives from the inside out. Became a two-time bestselling author by telling the things that most hide from. You see I believe that freedom is on the other side of confronting our innermost truths that aren’t very pretty at first glance. However, if you’re willing to travel the road least chosen you will live a life of victory in every way. One that shifts atmospheres and changes many lives by just being present. There is power in your pain. It’s your customized gift of connection that only your roadmap gives you journey. God will use it all. When the purpose is bigger than you, you are then in alignment with your divine destiny.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
By no means has it been smooth, it’s been the complete opposite for the bulk of the ride. Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, survival a Pandemic trying to keep your businesses alive. Continually being pushed to Elevate due rapid changing, economy, forever changing technology, and social restraints. Mastering your health and demanding to keep yourself first with all the pressures pulling on your mental, physical, social, financial, and emotional being. As my pastor would say it’s tight but it’s right. You will never know what’s in you until what’s in you is the only thing to keep you going, pushing forward, and not giving up. Throughout this amazing journey, you start to see the obstacles as opportunities of evolution. I can face it head-on and overcome it, change what needs to be changed, see what’s being presented for me to learn, or stay stuck and do nothing. And that’s not an option. We’ve fought too hard to not see it all the way through. The law or reciprocity will always pay you in full plus interest for your efforts to make a difference in yourself and the world. You get out what you put in.

Yes, the key to finding a mentor is being clear on where you are exactly in your personal and professional career or business.
Ask yourself these questions:
Am I teachable?
Is my life and household organized?
(You can’t start new or be effective in when things are all over place environmentally or internally)
Am I in a place to utilize this information in my life?
Am I ready to be disciplined enough to finish what I start?
Do I have a budget? (Most mentors require compensation for their exchange of energy and time)
Does this mentor teach in a way that I can understand and apply?
If you can answer yes, you are ready for your next season of guidance.
