Hi Princess, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Caring for others has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a big family with six siblings, I naturally took on the role of nurturer, always looking out for those around me. That instinct to help and heal only deepened as I got older, leading me to a career in nursing. But it wasn’t just a career, it was my calling. I knew early on that women’s health was where I was meant to be, and for over 21 years, I’ve dedicated my life to making sure women feel heard, valued, and truly cared for.
For the past 13 years as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside women through some of the most personal and defining moments of their lives. Women’s health is more than a profession for me, it’s my mission. I’ve seen firsthand how many women feel unheard, dismissed, or afraid to ask the questions that truly matter. I believe every woman deserves to be seen, understood, and cared for with compassion. Whether it’s comforting a first-time mother, guiding someone through a difficult diagnosis, or simply being a listening ear when a woman feels alone in her struggles, I am honored to stand in that space with them.
This work is not just what I do, it’s who I am. I was meant to be in this role, and I pour my heart into ensuring women feel valued, educated, and empowered to take control of their health. Because when we care for women, we uplift families, strengthen communities, and create a healthier future for all.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
During my master’s program, I faced one of the toughest challenges in my life a high-risk twin pregnancy. Balancing a rigorous academic schedule with the physical and emotional demands of a complicated pregnancy pushed me beyond my limits. Yet, with the unwavering support of my family and friends, and a steadfast commitment to women’s health, I found the strength to persevere. This experience not only reinforced my resilience but also deepened my dedication to serving women with empathy and understanding.

Success means staying true to my values of compassion, integrity, and continuous growth, so that each day I can serve others with a heart full of purpose. When I see someone leave feeling more empowered and hopeful than when they arrived, that is success.
