Today we’d like to introduce you to Randy Noexcuse
Hi Randy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Man, where do I even begin? I grew up in Newark and East Orange, New Jersey—rough areas where making it out felt like beating the odds every day. I didn’t come from much; I was sleeping on floors, surrounded by the streets, and at one point, even faced prison time. I dealt with depression, attempted suicide, and struggled to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But something clicked in me—I realized that if I didn’t turn my life around, I would either end up dead or living with regrets.
Losing my father was one of the biggest wake-up calls. It forced me to stop wasting time and made me want to honor his legacy every day. I stopped making excuses, stopped feeling sorry for myself, and decided I wasn’t going to let my circumstances define me anymore. Fitness became my outlet. It wasn’t just about getting stronger physically—it was about building mental toughness. It became my mission to help others who feel like they’ve hit rock bottom, who are making excuses, or who just need a push to become the best version of themselves. That’s how I became “NoExcuse.”
I created the Excuse Killer app to bring the same energy to people who need customized fitness solutions that fit their busy lives. I started group classes, built an online community, and began sharing my story through motivational speaking, because I believe that if I can make it through the roughest times, so can you. Now, I’m helping people transform their lives by showing them that no matter how bad it gets, you have the power to change it—if you stop making excuses and execute.
That’s my story. No more excuses, just execute. That’s how I got here, and that’s the energy I bring every day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not, it’s been anything but smooth. I’ve faced prison time, slept on floors, lost my father, battled depression, and even survived a suicide attempt. There were moments where I could’ve given up, but instead of letting those struggles break me, I used them as constant motivation. Every struggle made me more relentless. The road’s been rough, but those bumps made me who I am today—the Excuse Killer, no matter what life throws at me.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My brand, Excuse Killer, is built on one simple principle: No more excuses—it’s time to execute. I specialize in fitness training, mindset coaching, and motivational speaking, helping people break through their mental and physical limits. Through the Excuse Killer app, I offer personalized workout programs and meal plans that fit into even the busiest schedules, so there’s no room for “I don’t have time” excuses. I also run group classes that combine high-intensity training with real, raw accountability—if you train with me, you’re going to push past your limits.
But here’s the thing: I don’t accept everyone. I’m not here for people who want a quick fix or just to “lose a few pounds.” I’m here for the people who are tired of how they live, how they think, and how they’re stuck in a rut. I’m here for people who want real elevation, who are ready to change their mindset and push themselves beyond what they thought possible. I start with the mindset because that’s the foundation. The physical results? That’s just the icing on the cake for me. That’s why I’ve got the professional athletes and celebrities who trust me—not just for their bodies, but for their mental toughness.
What sets me apart is my brutal honesty and my no-excuse mentality. I don’t sugarcoat things because life didn’t sugarcoat anything for me. I’ve been through it all—facing prison time, sleeping on floors, surviving a suicide attempt, and losing my father. That’s why I don’t let anyone bring me excuses.
I’m most proud of the community of excuse killers we’re building. This brand isn’t just about fitness; it’s about creating a lifestyle change. Whether it’s through my app, in-person training, or motivational speaking, I’m here to help people become relentless, change their mindset, and take control of their lives. If you’re ready to stop making excuses and elevate your life, then I’m your guy. This is for people who are ready to change—not just physically, but mentally and spiritually too.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see the fitness and self-development industry shifting towards a more holistic approach, where mental toughness and personal development are just as important as physical fitness. People are realizing it’s not just about looking good, it’s about feeling good mentally and emotionally. Technology is going to play a huge role, with apps and virtual training becoming more advanced, offering personalized solutions that fit seamlessly into people’s lives. But the biggest shift? It’s going to be about authenticity—people want real coaches who’ve been through real struggles, and that’s where I see myself thriving, helping others make true, lasting lifestyle changes by combining fitness with mindset coaching for total transformation.
