Samantha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my business journey back in 2018 in Los Angeles,CA. Driven by a passion for beauty services and the desire to achieve financial freedom. Over the years, I expanded my offerings to include not only just lash extensions but as well as body sculpting, tiny tattoos, tooth gems, and teeth whitening. My goal was not only to provide these services but also to educate others and help others start their own businesses.
In 2023, I achieved a significant milestone by securing a storefront. In which was officially opened this year January of 2024 called LC Beauty Bar located in Downtown Apopka. At the Beauty Bar I have 8 suites and as well as open booth stations in which beauty professionals are able to rent out to provide their beauty services. At the time we are fully rented out and we offer a range of services from lashes, to brows, to pmu brows and lips, lip plump, body sculpting, yoni steam, hair services, nail services and soon to come body waxing and facials. As well as a mini boutique in the front. So we are officially a one stop shop! This was legit my dream come true I had been wishing for this for the longest and it’s here now and I couldn’t be more grateful! I am also now offering mentorship to help others successfully open up their own Beauty Bar / Salon Suites / Salon Studio Suites.
This journey has been filled with ups and downs, but my commitment to helping others and creating generational wealth keeps me motivated!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Key struggles included:
1. Getting Noticed: Building brand awareness in a saturated market took time and consistent marketing efforts.
2. Gaining Traffic: Attracting clients involved leveraging social media, hosting events, and overcoming reach limitations.
3. Maintaining Consistent Renters: Ensuring a steady stream of clients was challenging due to fluctuating demand and economic conditions.
