Community Highlights: Meet Stephanie Joya

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Joya.

Hi Stephanie, can you start by introducing yourself? We?d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey in helping others 15 years ago when I started my career in the medical field. I was a young mother aspiring to be a RN in the field at that time. Life and parenting got in the way of my goals at the moment and after going back and forth, I ended up at a practice with an amazing boss whom saw more in me and promoted me to a practice manager position three months from my initial hire date as a medical assistant/receptionist. I excelled at my job and my position, I loved what I did, helping thousandths of patients in everything possible. For as much as I enjoyed my job, I always felt the need to find my plan b, but being limited to funds and knowing that continuing my education was not an option as the family grew and responsibilities as well. As I continued to give my all at my job, I knew that the day would come where I would have to shift my profession to something that I could work for on my own and give all of what I had- to my own brand. I always felt like an entrepreneur but could not wrap my mind on what other field I could involve myself in to gain the proper knowledge to work for myself.

2019 came by and we were affected by the pandemic- well- everyone else was thankful for my blessings. I was able to keep my job and work full-time risking everything we had but the bills had to get paid and not going to work was not an option. At the moment, a friend overseas mentioned to me that there was a tax class that I could benefit from. I thought it through- thought about how everyone around me was affected by the pandemic-and how in this life having a plan a,b,c is a must. I decided to accept the idea that this could be the shift I needed-I paid the cost, connected with the Master Tax Instructor based in Bronx New York, I got a credit card bought a laptop and began the class via zoom. I was motivated and excited because I felt that this was destiny leading me to my new adventure in life. An adventure that changed my life completely opened this new vision of myself and the opportunities that were opening to me at the given time. I completed the course completed 100 tax preparations, went head on in tax season under my own business and exceeded my goals for the season, I was able to do all of these things while working my day practice manager job, as well as parenting my children and homeschooling. I was faced with many challenges but my ambition to succeed did not allow me to quit!

I am now my own boss and work alongside with my partner and have excelled in all that I have done in this field. Expanded our services by adding notary services as well as credit repair and working on insurance licensing as well. I now look back at all I have accomplished and it’s amazing to witness my growth as a professional and a person overall. I am in the business of helping others and reap the benefits of joy in all that I do.

Would you say it?s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you?ve faced along the way?
The road to success is never a smooth one! There are a lot of bumps in the road and the challenges you are faced with sometimes feel greater than the outcome. But this is all part of the mindset of an entrepreneur life. You go in always expecting some type of troubles, and your mind always has a solution. You will be challenged in ways mentally and emotionally and faced with doubts. This is all normal, you come to realize this after the fact. Challenges I was faced with was managing to multitask the many hats I had. I had to be a full-time mother, the brain of a medical practice handling insurance billing, surgical scheduling-dealing with all of the oppositions any business is faced with and also managing clients and my own business through calls and emails all in a days worth.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

Most of our clients are looking to repair and boost their credit scores to purchase their new home or buy their new car. Their credit scores keep them from doing so and after years of feeling in doubt and losing hope, they are referred to us. We start off by performing a credit file audit. This is performed after a phone call conversation where we get to know each other and goals/ expectations from one another. We connect via zoom and discuss process as well as the financial planning. It is a process that requires patience from start to finish, but the end results are always promising. Our goals are to exceed our client?s expectations, we take their worries and convert this into hope. Our goal is to get you in that new car and get you in that new house your family deserves!

We also offer our services virtually are virtually, we are bonded licensed and insured.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the city of Orlando because it is a beautiful city with a mixture of all types of living with so many things to do. The weather is amazing, the residents are family-oriented and kind-hearted.

What I like the least would be the traffic on the I-4 and never ending construction on the highway.
