Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road—and I think most meaningful journeys never are. Like many small practices, we opened with limited resources, a tight team, and a big vision.
One of our biggest hurdles was public awareness. Too often, podiatrists are misunderstood or underestimated—seen only as toenail or foot pain specialists. Our providers have taken that challenge head-on. Through community outreach, health fairs, speaking engagements, and active leadership in national podiatric societies, we’ve made it our mission to educate the public, medical professionals, and policymakers about the full scope of podiatric medicine. From limb salvage and diabetic wound care to sports medicine, surgery, and preventive biomechanics—we’re showing that our role is essential to overall health and mobility.
But every struggle shaped our identity. It pushed us to innovate, stay patient-focused, and create a practice culture grounded in kindness, integrity, and excellence.
