Community Highlights: Meet Ythamarie Rosario of Ythamarie Rosario Real Estate at Keller Williams Advantage III Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ythamarie Rosario.

Hi Ythamarie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hi, I’m Ythamarie Rosario — a passionate and driven realtor based in Central Florida. My journey began in Puerto Rico, where I was born, and continued in New York, where I moved with my family at the age of 8. Growing up under one roof with my cousins, parents, aunt, and grandpa gave me some of the best memories and taught me the importance of family, hard work, and adaptability.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I discovered it early on when I started selling lollipops as a kid for 25 cents, just to see how I could turn a small idea into something profitable. After high school, I moved to Florida, where I worked as a babysitter and later at a credit union—an experience that taught me valuable financial literacy skills.

I earned my A.A. from Valencia College and just completed my B.S. in Business Administration, with a focus in Integrated Business, at the University of Central Florida. I’m also in my third year as a licensed realtor with Keller Williams Advantage III, where I get to do what I love every day: help people achieve homeownership and build wealth through real estate.

Even though I recently experienced a bit of a hardship when my boyfriend got diagnosed with CKD, we now have to get accustomed to a temporary new life. Dialysis everyday, making changes to our diet and just being there as moral support. It can sometimes become physically, and emotionally draining but I know I’m not alone. This journey has definitely brought me closer to God in such a beautiful way. It’s still scary to me how such a tough situation, has restored my faith.

On a brighter side! creating content is something I truly enjoy—whether it’s sharing behind-the-scenes moments from a showing, highlighting beautiful homes in Instagram Reels, or hosting events and broker’s opens. My goal is to make real estate approachable and educational for my audience, while staying true to who I am.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth some of the obstacles I’ve had to overcome would be:

– Completing my senior year of college without my mom. In 2015, my parents were having a financial problem and made the choice to attempt to move back to Puerto Rico to start life over there. My mom wanted to bring me but it was my last year of school and my aunt said No and I will always cherish her for that. So for 1 year it was just me, my dad, my grandpa, my aunt and two cousins in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom less than 1,200 sqft apartment.

– I didn’t know what I wanted to do after high school, my parents weren’t stable and most of my family had moved away from NY, so we had no choice but to all four of us pack our life and move into a bedroom. And for a month we made it happen, I’m glad I had a best friend at the time who allowed me to basically move in with her for that time being.

– Fast Forward, we move to Florida and now we are living with my grandma in her 2 bedroom apartment. I started baby sitting for my aunts, started applying to jobs, and started looking into community college.

– My aunt Jessica gave me the opportunity to apply at the credit union she worked at but I applied to work in the contact center and ever since that moment, I became a sponge and learned about finance and lasted 8 years at the credit union. I started as an entry level rep and resigned as a leader.

– I had to financially step in and help my family pay the rent, phone bill. I will never forget when I started working at Checkers I worked horrible hours 5pm-2am, my first check went to pay the phone bill because we were behind 2 months. It totaled $500 my first check was $559. At that moment I knew I wanted more for my life and my family life.

– Now with my boyfriend being diagnosed with Kidney failure it has definitely turned our life around.
