Today we’d like to introduce you to Farrah Hodgson.
Hi Farrah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In 2011 I had a tumor on my spine, I found out after I was pregnant with my youngest daughter. The Pain was unbearable to the point whereas a single mother of five I couldn’t take care of my kids. So I had to do surgery, but they hit a motor nerve and I became paralyzed from waist down for a couple years. While in that season, I surrendered to God and gained a relationship with him. I definitely needed his supernatural Strength, HE BECAME MY HEALER AND DELIVER. He then revealed to me my Purpose, which was to become a published author, then that open the door to so many platforms of Prosperity.
I knew it was only GOD because I was a high school dropout, an ex exotic dancer, and I had a long history of loving the wrong men that distracted me from Who GOD created me to be. With all that action-packed dramatic life, I definitely didn’t like reading books. But I know now those crazy things were all for a purpose. Those things gave me content for all my books. I pushed past my comfort zone and took a leap of faith in 2016 and went into full-time ministry and became a published author of six books. I am NOW the CEO OF DAUGHTER OF THE KING PUBLISHING. I am so passionate about people sharing their testimonies because when I decided to put my pain to paper, it gave me hope and transformed my life for the better.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, their has definitely been struggles in my personal life as well as my business life. For someone who has no business degrees and running a business that is growing tremendously, I face a lot of opposition and mistakes. I basically had to teach myself everything. Administration, marketing, accounting, proper communication skills to deal with my clients professionally. I had to invest a lot of money into my business to make the money I am making now.

Daughter of the King Publishing is an Indie Publishing company that offers authors options for print-on-demand publishing, e-publishing, coaching, and marketing strategies for their written works. We are able to help People share their stories and take their writing to the next level by publishing and using their book as a platform to venture into other opportunities. We cultivate your stories of inspiration to share to people of all ages globally. What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I absolutely love Florida, the entertainment, the weather, especially for someone who lived in Canada for over 30 years. I have no dislikes about Orlando.
