Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariana Ventura.
Hi Ariana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started 2 years ago doing what I love! How it started, I hired a makeup artist @beatbychink to do my makeup for my baby shower. I started talking to her and she inspired me so much that I decided to get involved with the beauty industry.
A year later after doing makeup, I wanted to go further in my education so I went to school for the esthetician program and fell in complete love with everything esthetics. After graduating I was worked at home for 2 months performing services & eventually I got in contact with an old friend who owns her own shop and decided to rent out my own room in a salon so I can grow!
Now what I plan on doing growing more clientele adding and mastering all the services that I offer and just growing until I own my shop which is the goal in 2 years!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely been a bumpy road, every day there is a new obstacle, gaining clients is definitely one of the hardest parts but you have to keep pushing, you have to keep posting, no matter if you get 0 likes I promise there is always someone watching and viewing or talking about the things you are doing.
You have to motivate yourself constantly.
Some days I feel like quitting but I just am so in love with what I do that I could never stop.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed Esthetician/Freelance Makeup Artist & Lash Technician and now a newly certified wax technician. I’m known for my makeup skills and Eyelash extension sets mostly but this year I’ll be doing much more which I’m excited for!
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come and never gave up no matter how many times I wanted to, definitely proud of how I’m willing to learn as much as I possibly can for my unbelievable amazing clients.
I think what sets me apart from others is when you come to sit in my chair it’s a 100% judgment-free zone, you are able to say whatever & vent about anything, I try my best to get a great bond going with all my clients, I think it’s great for anyone to have that one person they can talk about anything with and I like becoming their one person!
What do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is after I’m done with any service and I hand them a mirror to see their finished result and a huge smile goes across their faces, this is literally what I live for. Everyone has insecurities and if I can just lessen that in any form then it just makes my whole day.
