Hi Carlos, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up surrounded by house and techno music, I always found myself fascinated by drum patterns and rhythms. My first real connection to the scene happened at EDC Orlando 2021, where I was blown away by the community and energy of the crowd. That weekend ignited my desire to dive deeper into music.
In December 2021, I got my first DJ controller and started practicing in my garage for friends. As I developed my sound and created a DJ persona, I knew I was on the right path. The turning point came in 2023 when I played in front of a live audience in New York with Groovy Soul giving me the confidence boost I needed.
Since then, I’ve been performing in downtown Orlando now producing music as well . Im always striving to learn more and connect with the community. Each gig fuels my passion, and I’m excited for what’s next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The most significant challenge for any artist is often that first big leap. Constantly seeking new ways to innovate can be overwhelming as well , but it’s also the essence of crafting a unique artistic journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in blending deep Latin sounds with minimal tech drums, known for maintaining a consistent, energetic groove. My unique mixing style sets me apart and defines my sound. I’m most proud of how fast I’m making a name for myself and surprising myself everyday when I try to learn new things to improve my music .
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see the industry embracing more hybrid genres, merging elements from diverse musical backgrounds. Advances in technology will continue to enhance live performances.
