Cherisse Stephens is the Founder & CEO of the Cherisse Stephens Foundation, Inc, God’s Cover-Girls, and Cherisse Stephens Ministries. Each organization is designed to inspire, motivate and educate people from all walks of life to become the very best version of themselves.
Cherisse Stephens is an author with a total to date of 10 books and journals that she has written. Some of her best sellers include Anointed Privately, Blessed Publicly, God’s Cover-Girls which is a three-book series for women and girls, and her newest journal entitled, “My Story Perfectly Written”.
Cherisse Stephens is a graduate of The University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University, where she received her Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science in Business, and Master’s degree in Leadership.
Cherisse Stephens is also a media specialist and has produced, hosted, and appeared on many television, radio, and internet broadcasts. Cherisse Stephens has hosted television for TBN’s Praise the Lord Program and WATC’s flagship TV program; “Atlanta Live. She has also appeared on The Word Network, TCT Network, and other popular television networks.
Cherisse Stephens is also the host of her highly rated podcast entitled; Cherisse Is On. This podcast is making waves around the globe as Cherisse motivates and inspires every listener and viewer. The Cherisse Is On can be viewed on her YouTube Channel.
Cherisse Stephens is also a national recording artist and has shared the stage with artists such as Kelly Price, Marvin Sapp, Yolanda Adams, and Hezekiah Walker. Her latest offering, entitled “My Friend,” was produced by her son and is blessing listeners in the United States and abroad. Most importantly, Evangelist Cherisse Stephens is proud to be the wife of her husband, Preston, and the mother of their two awesome sons. Her goal is to be the Proverbs 31 woman, which is the Ultimate God’s Cover-Girl!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There will always be obstacles when you have a vision or dream. I believe that setbacks are just setups for comebacks. I’ve learned from every obstacle I’ve had to face. Whether it was rejection, disappointment or feeling inadequate. They were are are still teachable moments.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My life consists of different components. I deem them as being a part servant leadership. I get to serve people in various ways. I am blessed that I get to pour into women and girls to help them realize their God-given potential. Inspiring women and girls to pursue their dreams, higher education and entrepreneurship are just some of the areas we are passionate about. The Cherisse Stephens Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to assisting in these areas.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I’ve learned so many valuable lessons. I would have to say that patience is an ongoing lesson. It’s important to be anxious for nothing! Waiting your time and your turn is key. When you are faithful over a few things, God will make you ruler over many!
