Conversations with Christopher Charles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Charles.

Christopher, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has truly been years in the making. I’ve always been a creative person, but everything really started when I bought my first camera in 2020. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion and eventually opened my eyes to the world of storytelling, photography, videography, and content creation.

Over the years, I’ve continued to explore different creative avenues while also learning more about myself and the kind of life I want to build. Along the way, I’ve discovered a passion for creating experiences that bring people together, whether that’s through content, fitness, or building communities like my run club.

Today, I’m focused on living a more intentional life by prioritizing my health, growing as a creator, and building things that inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and chase the life they truly want. It’s been a journey of growth, reinvention, and learning to bet on myself, and I’m excited to see where it continues to take me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all, and honestly, I think that’s what has made the journey so meaningful. One of my biggest struggles has been balancing a full-time job while trying to build a creative life outside of it. There have definitely been moments of self-doubt and times where I questioned if I was on the right path.

I’ve also learned that growth isn’t always linear. Over the years, I’ve had to reinvent myself, prioritize my health, and become comfortable taking risks and betting on myself. Looking back, those challenges have shaped me into the person I am today, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a photographer, videographer, and content creator who loves telling stories and bringing people together. Over the years, my work has evolved beyond just creating content—it’s become about building community, inspiring others, and creating experiences that people can genuinely connect with.

What I’m most proud of is staying true to myself and continuing to build a life that aligns with my passions. I think what sets me apart is that I’m not just documenting my journey, I’m actively living it. Whether it’s prioritizing my health, building a run club, or creating content, everything I do comes from a genuine place, and that’s something people can relate to. I’m also not afraid to take risks or take a leap of faith when it’s time to chase after my dreams, because some of the best opportunities in my life have come from simply betting on myself.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My biggest issue and roadblock as a creator has been networking in the right way that gets my services out there and to be able to get my work in front of the right people to truly take off, and when it comes to mentors I have a few friends who I look up to as a mentor and it’s been working good for me so far, I feel like once I nail my networking in that aspect things will go to the next level in my creator journey
