Conversations with Isabelle Miranda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabelle Miranda.

Hi Isabelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been a creative my entire life. I was in theatre and orchestra growing up and it turned into creating content nowadays. I’ve always been fascinated with the fact that anybody, anywhere, anytime could be creating something that brings THEM happiness. I definitely struggled with my image when I was younger because I always wanted to please everyone and it brought me in a downward spiral path. Once I started focusing on me and how the only person, I have to impress is myself, I was set and ready. I have made so many friends through my platforms and some are now my closest till this day. From quarantine TikTok to Harry Potter TikTok to now I create just Orlando lifestyle and fandom content, I definitely can see my progress from when I started and how much more confident, I feel in myself than about 2 years ago

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s definitely been anything but smooth. I dealt with a lot of personal issues throughout these two years, I hit rock bottom last year with an eating disorder that I was so desperately trying to hide. It definitely affected the way I looked at myself and when I finally received help, my perspective changed and everything I did, including my content and the way I perceived myself, changed. I no longer looked at other creators and thought “Maybe if I was skinnier then I would be bigger and have more engagement”. So, it’s definitely been a journey but I’m glad I’m not there anymore and now I can help other young people realize that they don’t need to change themselves for anyone

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in fandom and Orlando lifestyle content. My range is quite funny; I will either post what my day is like at universal, a “get ready to work at Disney with me” makeup video, or a reaction video to Harry Styles at Coachella. It’s very versatile and I find it humorous. I’m proud of the way I feel now creating content on my own time than before when I felt that If I didn’t post every day, I was a failure which is completely not true.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see myself working in the music industry, I am trying to get my story to be the “fangirl to music industry” pipeline. I’m a concert lover so I feel like working for those labels would be an absolute dream come true. Hopefully, I will be getting there sooner than later
