Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Kimble.
Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Music has always been my passion! And growing up I seen a lot of people around me being entrepreneurs, so automatically I knew that I wanted to have my own business while growing into music. It’s like having two passions in one that work really well together, while growing to understand myself as an independent artist. I’m also growing and understanding myself as a businesswoman. After so many different businesses adventures that I’ve had. I finally at a point where I’ve found what works for me in both industries.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. I’ve really got it out the dirt! As they say, it was a lot of teaching myself/ learning curves, researching, studying and taking lots of classes to get certified for so many different things to really understand what I wanted and truly finding my niche. It wasn’t easy, but it was well worth it to grow into the entrepreneur I am today.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My entrepreneurship and passion for music/ singing has really led me to social media, being a video creator has been a journey that has taught me a lot. I started off making YouTube videos. From YouTube videos I started up my Facebook then I went to Instagram and then TikTok, I am a growing independent artist who makes videos from reactions to, funny skits, vlogs and of course music videos, I also have a fashion blog and a beauty blog along with other entrepreneurship endeavors outside of the entertainment industry. Like a cleaning service and investing.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes, I’ve learned to always be prepared for anything and most definitely have a plan B and C. Don’t never get too comfortable in your situation and think I’ll have it this way forever. Stay on your game, don’t fumble the ball.
