Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Michael.
Jeffrey, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
There came a point in my life during my late twenties where I asked myself, what am I doing? I had lost my license, my car, and was living back home. Completely at a low point in my life. But being there made me realize where I didn’t want to be. I decided to sign up for college to complete my goal I had set out for myself when I was in high school. Which was to complete the Film Production program at Valencia College. Not only did I complete the degree but I continued my education earning an associate in dramatic arts and studying history at the University of Central Florida. College helped me channel my focus to find my place in society if you would. What do I like doing the most and how am I going to make a living doing it because working nine-to-five was just not for me. Since college, I’ve been working towards my goal at being a Creator. Writing and directing short films, full features, and even some comedy routines in hopes to one day hold a leading position in the entertainment world
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest obstacle has been trying to figure out where I belong. I write jokes but that doesn’t mean I’m a comedian. I enjoy filming but I don’t want to be being the camera to name a few types of examples. It’s very important for me to display the person outside, with the person that aligns inside.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for being a creative director and a photographer. I have friends and clients that hire me to work on their projects; From writing to producing. I’m also a photographer, photographing weddings as my day job but, what I truly specialize in is a bit complex. To start I’d have to say what I’m most proud of which are my college degrees and the recent scripts I’ve completed. College was never supposed to happen and yet it did. A little over six years of my life it happened and I am truly grateful to go through that experience. Now what I specialize in is expanding on my education and experiences. I like to act produce and tell stories. All things we do in our everyday life. I just want to profit off of it. Maybe that’s what sets me apart from others.
What are your plans for the future?
I have projects that I would like to see taken to another level and what I am learning from producers such as Houston Howard from the YouTube channel film Courage, is to attack the market. And I plan on doing just that with all the many social media platforms we have available to us.
