Today we’d like to introduce you to Johanne Immis. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Johanne Immis is an artist/designer born in Paris and raised in Les Ulis, France. Around 10 years old, she moved with her family to Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York.
Her art style is influenced by anime, fantasy, astrology, and space.
It all started with drawings and pencil sketches in her many, many sketchbooks.
She decided to take classes for Graphic Design where she learned how to use Photoshop.
One day, after the birth of her son, she decided to create her own line of merchandise.
She started showcasing her artwork at local art shows in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Harlem, and also Philadelphia.
Her passion for art and design grew more and more as she ventured into designing.
With focus, amazing work ethics, dedication and consistency she launched Shopimmis.com
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The obstacles and challenges come from the fears and limitations that we place on ourselves. Anything is possible if you believe it is possible. Once you realize that once you believe you can…you will. You must develop a winning mindset to succeed and stay persistent.

I am an artist and designer who loves the anime style of art. I am most proud of my growth as an artist and entrepreneur.
