Conversations with Kaden Jordan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaden Jordan

Hi Kaden, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Music has been one of the few constants in my life. I believe it all started when I was 5 years old, banging on my little Elmo drum, trying to make as much noise as possible. Before I found my passion for hip-hop, I explored various avenues in the entertainment industry, including theater, film, YouTube streaming, and even dance. But everything changed when I heard the song “All I Have” by NF on the radio—it clicked, and I knew that’s what I wanted to do.

Now, almost 10 years later, I’ve performed halftime for the Orlando Magic, been flown to the Bahamas to share my music with the youth, and performed pretty much everywhere in Orlando. I released my first album independently at 17 and I’m currently working on my second album, with plans to tour in 2025. Despite these achievements, it was the humble beginnings that truly shaped me as an artist. Performing at small shows where only the artists performing were present, or in Chick-fil-A parking lots, and even at a 7-Eleven—those moments showed me my true purpose.

I believe my purpose is to inspire others to recognize their own God-given gifts and purpose. I may not be headlining festivals, but the path and work God has set for me are more fulfilling than anything this world could offer. This is just the beginning of my journey; my time here has only begun. I hope that wherever God leads me next, my story will inspire the next great person.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Many of the obstacles I faced felt like closed doors and missed opportunities. However, God has a way of opening new doors for me, even if they don’t look like what I had envisioned. Despite the setbacks, I persevered. I’ve also experienced significant loss throughout my career—such as losing a mentor in a car accident before my first album and having music friends distance themselves when they achieved great success. Yet, I believe everything I’ve endured has shown me that it was God who brought me through it all. So, whatever challenges come next, I’m ready to face them.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I create music across a variety of genres and specialize in songwriting, mixing and mastering engineering, production, and social media management. I’m particularly known for my live performances. I’m most proud of the next song I’ll create. What sets me apart in my field is my dedication to giving more—more energy, more work ethic, more heart, and more art.

What makes you happy?
I’m the happiest when I’m on stage, connecting with whoever’s in the room, performing the music God has given me. I think it gives me joy because it just feels like me and God in my element, I feel the closest to God on stage. It’s the one place I can be my true authentic self. As odd as it may sound, being on stage feels the most like home.
