Conversations with Kaylia Raniey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylia Raniey. 

Hi Kaylia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I am 32 years old originally from Milwaukee, WI, at the age of 15 my family moved to Jackson, MS where I lived until 2012. From a young age, my uncle always told me “I am way more than my surroundings”. I never really understood what he meant until he passed away 8 years ago. I always wanted better for myself and my children, but when you consistently hear “no you can’t “it takes a toll on your mental state. 

In 2018 I decided to step out on faith and launched my first business 3K Luxury Closet. It was an online boutique with clothing, jewelry, shoes, and high-end bags. I had received my certifications in authenticating name-brand items so I assumed this was a great business venture for me. After a year of being in business I became discouraged because sales were not consistent, I didn’t have clothing items on hand, my shipping was coming directly from China and it was a hassle so I gave up. 

Little did I know there was so much more into maintaining a business than just selling items. I realized my problem was I just wanted to be a businesswoman and make money not realizing it takes way more than that. If I could be honest, it wasn’t my passion. I was doing it as a full-time job for a reputable company so I was like I can do this too! 

For 2 years I was in a state of being unsure of my purpose. I was confused, always moody, crying because I felt defeated! I felt as if I let the one person down that had believed in me since I was a little girl. I remember talking to my best friend at brunch one day crying for an hour straight because I was so unhappy in life. I will never forget the positive words she gave me “choose happiness”. I had to realize We choose our destiny and we are in control! 

In October of 2020, I decided to take control over my life! I started shedding bad friends, unwanted energy, and even family members that caused me so much pain and agony. In October I launched my very own online Adult Store. I was so thrilled because once I found “me” again I realized this was my calling the entire time! I have always been vocal about my sexuality and have always expressed the importance of talking about positive sex with my friends. This business was perfect for me! Not only am I able to provide amazing products such as: toys, lingerie, homemade massage candles, and Bikini Lightening Creams, I also provide one-on-one education about each item. Education is key and I intend to make sure my customers are aware of all things positive. 

My only goal when I launched Cremedreamzxxx.com was to pay off my website for the year. That happened in the 1st two weeks!! I started doing pop-up shops all over Central Florida, hosting parties, and monthly Erotic Paint Nights. I have been so grateful all because of other entrepreneurs in Central Florida and the community for supporting my dreams!! 

I was able to Orchestrate a Back-to-School Event on August 8, 2021, and serve up to 300 kids. It was the most rewarding thing I have ever done! My husband and two other business owners Amanda and Donnette all played such a major part in that event! We even had our babies out giving back! It was so amazing! The community has truly been a blessing to me and I could not ask for anything more! 

I am having my second event on September 11th, 2021 but it will be Adults Only!! We are having a Dungeon Party and I am so excited!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not! Trial and error are real! You would think I would have learned my lesson the first time with my first business but nope I went back to drop shipping because I did not have the money to purchase a large amount of items. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For a living a work for a doctor’s office as a receptionist. I specialize in being able to relate to others. For me, I believe in getting out and talking to others to understand their likes, dislikes, their goals, their stories, etc. I am known for being outgoing and the one person who can throw a bomb party lol! I am most proud of being able to find my peace and being able to be happy. Happiness is simple but it is definitely hard to find. What sets me apart from others is the passion I have. 

How do you think about happiness?
Being able to live my life the way I choose fits. Coming from where I came from, I always had people controlling how they thought I should live, do things, spend my money, and just simply try to run my life. It took me years I mean years to get to my happy place. I had to understand I only get one life to live and I need to live it how I saw fit. I was in my mid 20’s once I started fully living and moving to my own beat. My happiness is everything to me and I refuse to let anyone disturb that.
