Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith Greiveldinger.
Hi Keith, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Thanks for having me as I am a Local Winter Garden resident, Father of 3, Husband, Son, and love meeting and inspiring new people around the Globe. I am the host and founder of The Win it Minute and have worked hard at creating a network of local events and groups dedicated to helping others find their way to a Winning day.
I am a Proud UCF Alum Speaker, Coach, Social Influencer, and Sales Evangelist who loves leading others to high achievements. My greatest joy is helping others but most importantly I truly love and enjoy helping Coach people starting with my own kids and their friends in local sports as it gives me the opportunity to pour into others like I have been poured into by amazing people my whole life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If you look around at what’s going on around is, it can be very easy to feel negative and hopeless at times. There are always obstacle and challenges every day, and I have certainly had plenty. However, there is just as much room for positive vibes in the world, and it is needed much more than the negativity that is so easily found.
My main objective in life is to follow my passion and inspire as many others as possible to do the same. I find that whenever we do something that fills us with enthusiasm, we’re fulfilling our own legacies.
When I started doing my Win It Minute videos a little a few years ago, I did it on a whim to inspire people with positivity and put a great message out there.
Doing this ended up inspiring me even more.
I found that when I do something that I’m passionate about in life—very much like the people I look up to—I get ignited, and it has allowed me to ignite others around me.
I want to spread positivity and impact the world because I’ve learned so much about the human mind and the power of mindset that it changed my life.
No doubt, I’m living more or less an average life by many people’s standards. But once I started diving into the power of the mindset, it changed my life. I want everyone to know that there’s a blueprint to success in life, and it all has to do with your mind. You can train your mind to see the world in a different way, and I want to teach others how they can train their mind how to think.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I started doing videos and speaking to audiences on stage because I wanted to encourage and inspire others to be the best version of themselves, and when you do anything on a regular basis it becomes a habit. I’ve found that habits are the most powerful thing you can use to change your circumstances. Doing these videos forced me to read more inspirational books. If I didn’t have that driving force behind wanting to teach others, I wouldn’t have kept going. Doing these videos forced me to learn something brand new—not only motivational and inspirational material but also how to go on camera and communicate effectively in that medium and how to talk to people and communicate.
It’s amazing to look back at the first speeches that I ever did and how much work it has taken to grow and learn. However,
It’s helped me grow into the person that I am now. Life is a reflection—whatever you’re sending out into the world comes back to you. As I started doing these positive and inspirational videos that inspired me, I began to notice other people around me were looking at me differently as this “motivational, inspirational” guy.
At that point, I felt like they created this image of me in their minds, which may or may not have been who I really was. However, it was so powerful to see them look at me differently, so I wanted to live up to that image and perception so much more. As a result, I worked harder at being a more positive inspirational person. Once you create an image, whether it’s true or not, you want to live up to that character because that’s how others see you.
That realization made me work harder. If I was in a social setting and I was frustrated or angry, I had to remember that I’m the Win It Minute guy. When you put yourself out in the public eye, people notice what you do and whether or not your words and actions are consistent. That means that I make a conscious effort to live up to the Win It Minute image of being inspirational and positive in all settings. It really helped me redefine who I am, and I found out who I was better that way than anything else in my life. It gave me more confidence, too.
People started telling me how much they love that I’m such a positive guy, so when I realized how much people love positivity, I just started ramping that up. The more I did it, the more people liked it, and the more I liked it, the more I liked who I was becoming. It all fed upon itself.
When we create something, and people perceive us in a particular way, it gives us something to live up to—and it’s all based on how others interpret our actions.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Life is too short to settle for things that you know are less that what is in you. The Reason some people aren’t happy Is because they are bored and unfulfilled. Every Minute of Every day is an opportunity to realize we have so much more in us, and we can break free of doing something mediocre with our day and win the day. If that’s where you are, look for new opportunities. Stretch, grow, take courses, learn, do your part to win the day, and you will see a change…I guarantee it. Winning minute by minute excites your spirit and moves you towards a new destiny.
