Hi Kenneth & Tamika, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My husband and I started our business in April of 2022 after we lost our oldest son and my husband’s oldest sister in 2021. We needed something to keep us busy and our minds occupied after losing them. I told my husband about making marquees after my sister in Pennsylvania ran the idea across me. She told me we needed to make marquee letters because no one in our area was making them, and it would be a good investment. We decided to try it, and we built our first Marquee’s on April 15, 2022, and have been booked and busy since(Thank God). We rent and sell our marquee letters and numbers. We service Polk County and surrounding counties. Our marquees are made out of wood and stand 4 feet tall. My husband and I are creative, building props out of wood and more.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It’s been a smooth ride so far. Our customers are our number #1 priority. They’ve been keeping us booked and busy every weekend since we decided to go this route and started our business.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My husband and I are both creative. He can build anything, and I can make anything. He loves to draw and loves when our clients bring us ideas so he can bring them to life. My husband builds all our marquee letters, numbers, props, and more. He built them all with a hand saw; boy, is he “BAD” with that saw. We specialize in wood props, Marquee’s, and arch walls. We’re known for our marquees and decorating events with our other business, Creative Way events. Our low prices and turnaround time when marquees are purchased set us apart from others.
Pricing:
- Our letters rent for $50 per letter or number for regular marquees. Our stacked 3D marquees rent for $65 per letter or number.
- If customers want to purchase Marquees, we have many options they can choose from, with the lowest being $100 per letter number.
