Conversations with Koiya McElroy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Koiya McElroy. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Whether she is dominating airwaves as Host of iHeartRadio’s 104.5 The Beat, or center-stage hosting major city events, Koiya knows how to connect with a crowd.

This media maven got her start in radio eight years ago at the University of Central Florida. She co-hosted The MK Show on Knight Cast Radio, which was rated the #1 radio show on campus. Koiya quickly realized her natural talent and love for entertaining, and it showed. Soon after, she accepted an opportunity to work with iHeartRadio and never looked back.

Known for her “Show On The Road” series her success on air has also opened doors to countless hosting opportunities, from the esteemed Beat Music Festival to private celebrity interviews with The Breakfast Club, Megan The Stallion, DaBaby, B.Simone, and Sevyn Streeter, just to name a few.

With her finger on the pulse of the city at all times, Koiya earns her reputation as the plug for all things social in Central Florida. Her mission has remained consistent: to create a stronger community through authentic, relatable conversation around issues that matter most. This mission has only fortified the connection she has with her very loyal audience.

When she is not on air, Koiya is a champion for women empowerment efforts. She loves creating and hosting lunches and retreats that leave women feeling inspired. Her versatility and well-rounded interests set her apart from other industry leaders, and with her growing platform she continues to create opportunities to uplift her community more.
