Today we’d like to introduce you to Ladeyah Duffy.
Hi Ladeyah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a survivor of sexual abuse and I’m here to release my passions and help women all around the world young and old discover true love for themselves and an understanding after abuse. For many years I’ve battled my demons and depression but helped myself stand strong through unimaginable pain. I found a new approach to life and God has created this vision for me to help other women gain strength and love for themselves despite their traumatic experiences and shine a new beauty of light on their lives.
After years of contemplating and brainstorming on ways I can use my voice and help others, I came up with my solution to my success. My brand. My baby.
I present to the world, A true passionately pink event hosted by Lady. My vision is to help survivors of sexual, mental, physical abuse breakthrough, heal, and grow through understanding, love, and unity.
These events will be fun but also powerful and I can’t wait to meet ladies all around the world one day.
I will host
– Picnics
– Brunches
– Night outs
– Testimonials
– One on ones (I am a Social warrior, not a Social worker )
– Group fitness events
– GirlCations
And many more events in the future.
Attending one of my events, you’ll gain not only an understanding of your healing journey but also friends. A group of motivated, talented, strong, and beautiful women. A social group that’ll eventually become family.
All love lady.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A few challenges I’ve faced since starting my business. Definitely would be self-doubt and a loss of relationships/friends. My self-doubt kicked in prematurely in my journey. My fears of failing or my ideas not being understood are very scary to me. I’ve done a lot of self-evaluating to remain confident with my goal of helping women. I also notice this journey of success, I have lost friends and relationships, some people aren’t as passionate about my visions and that’s ok. There are only a few at the top, and I’ll continue pushing no matter what.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For years of my life, I’ve worked in the food industry. I have always been one of the best and leadership within the company has always been my goal. Right now, I am a certified trainer and bartender at Bahama breeze, So I’m the fun teacher who knows how to whip up so great drinks, lol. I also became a toddler teacher a few months ago and it has been one of the best decisions of m life. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, and finally, I’ve gained the opportunity to work with kids. These two jobs have allowed me to better my communication and an array of skills working with adults and children. What sets me apart from others is my passion for life. My years of depression have given me a new approach to life. Life is so short and I’ll do everything in my power to live life to the fullest. And doing the things I love every day makes me the happiest.
