Conversations with Laramie Otto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laramie Otto

Hi Laramie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my blog and creating content in 2016 as a creative outlet from my office job. I really enjoyed collaborating with brands and local businesses to highlight on my blog, which lead me more in the direction on content creation for others. In 2020 I quit my 9-5 job in the middle of the pandemic to chase my dream of working for myself. At the time there was a huge need for businesses to really show up for their ideal clients/customers on social media. This led me in the direction of social media management and helping businesses with content creation as well as social media. Almost five years in and I’m glad I took the risk!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship is not for the weak, it’s a rollercoaster that comes with twists and turns so you need to know you’re in for a ride! Over the years I’ve learned to work with many different types of people and personalities. My biggest challenge has been learning to say no to what doesn’t serve me in my business, not everyone will be a good fit to work with you and that’s ok.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a social media manager and content creator. I’ve taken jobs I’ve had in the past and really learned everything I can in those fields, so I feel I can help people in the those industries the most, specifically art, lifestyle, and real estate! I truly do my best to serve my clients the best I can, I really value others businesses and communities, if I work with you my whole heart is in it! I want everyone to succeed!

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We can work together through social media and content creation! I also love collaborating over on my blog and social media and just appreciate anyone that engages with my content there as well!
