Today we’d like to introduce you to LaTronda Owens.
Hi LaTronda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
About 20 years ago, I was arrested and sent to prison for a crime I connected in 1995. I was released in 2000 and my new journey began. I got out and didn’t have a clue what to do with my life all I knew was I was out. I work a few jobs but wasn’t happy at all so began to put different types of outfits together and that’s when I found out I have a passion for style.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it’s been some downfalls some hard discussions I had to make and at times I didn’t have all the money for the business but with God’s help and getting me connected to the right people I was able to make it happen.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Personal Stylist where I come and dress you! I organize closets I take your old clothes and remix them to make outfits I also do a Facebook live called KIMMY’Z PLACE where I sell what I call treasures from different thrift stores and other stores.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Don’t give up on your Dreams because if it’s meant for you it will happen to you!
Pricing:
- Styling is $75-$1500 depending on how many outfits.
- The closet remix is $100-$2500 depending on the size of the closet.
