Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Lauren — a Florida local, Disney lover, and content creator who turned a lifelong passion into a platform for spreading magic.
I started creating content in 2022 with the goal of helping families make the most out of their time at Orlando’s theme parks, especially Walt Disney World. Growing up, the parks were more than just a place to have fun — they were a source of joy, healing, and connection. After losing my mom when I was just two years old, Disney became a space of escapism for my dad and me — a place where we could create magical memories together and find light even in hard times.
That early bond sparked something in me that never faded. I always knew I wanted to do something meaningful with my love for Disney, and now I get to do just that — sharing tips, honest reviews, behind-the-scenes peeks, and magical moments that inspire and uplift my community.
Whether it’s through helpful planning advice, showcasing new park experiences, or simply bringing a little pixie dust to your feed, I’m here to help make your Disney dreams feel just a bit more magical — one post at a time.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Content creation is truly so much fun — it allows me to tap into my creativity, share what I love, and connect with an amazing community. I genuinely enjoy what I do, and I’m so grateful that I get to call this my job.
That said, like any career, it comes with its challenges. The biggest one for me has been learning to consistently believe in myself, especially in an industry that’s always evolving. Staying on top of trends, adapting quickly, and showing up consistently can be tough — but the rewards far outweigh the hard moments.
What makes it all worth it is knowing I get to do something I love every day, on my own terms. As a mom of two, the flexibility this path offers means the world to me. It allows me to be present for my family while still building something I’m proud of.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a full-time content creator and mom of two, blending my love for storytelling, Disney, and family life into what I do every day. Before stepping into content creation, I spent several years working my way up in management at Publix, a company I’ve always admired and been passionate about.
While I valued my time there and gained a strong foundation in leadership and customer service, the demanding schedule became increasingly difficult to manage with two young children. I knew I needed a career that allowed me to be more present at home while still doing something fulfilling and impactful.
I also have a strong background in sales, which has played a big role in how I approach brand partnerships and audience engagement. In 2011, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Disney College Program, working in food & beverage at the Electric Umbrella inside EPCOT. That experience further fueled my lifelong love for Disney and planted the seed for the content I create today.
Now, I get to merge all of those experiences — sales, leadership, customer care, and Disney magic — into content that helps families, spreads joy, and builds meaningful community online.
What truly sets me apart as a content creator is the heart behind everything I do. My passion for Disney and storytelling is rooted in real-life experiences that shaped who I am — from growing up visiting the parks with my dad after losing my mom at a young age, to working at EPCOT during the Disney College Program. That deep connection to the magic fuels my motivation every single day.
I’m driven not just by creativity, but by purpose — to help families make lasting memories, to bring joy into someone’s day, and to remind people that a little magic goes a long way. My kindness, authenticity, and positive energy shine through in every piece of content I share.
Whether it’s through helpful tips, emotional storytelling, or fun behind-the-scenes park moments, I create with the intention to uplift and inspire. As a mom of two, I also understand the value of time, balance, and genuine connection — and I bring all of that into my work.
At the end of the day, I’m not just here to create content — I’m here to spread magic, kindness, and a little bit of wonder to people all over the world.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
One of the things that has worked really well for me in growing as a content creator is simply putting myself out there. Whether it’s attending local events, connecting with people on LinkedIn, or building genuine relationships through opportunities that align with my passions — showing up has made all the difference.
Sometimes success comes from just saying yes, introducing yourself, and being open to where a conversation might lead. The more I leaned into that mindset, the more doors started to open — and the more I grew both personally and professionally.
If you’re trying to build something meaningful, don’t be afraid to take that first step. Opportunities often come from the connections you make when you show up with purpose and authenticity.
