Today we’d like to introduce you to Luna Soleil.
Luna , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my journey of drawing and making illustrations when I was diagnosed with CML( chronic myeloid leukemia) in 2011 while going to university.
While struggling through my illness, I found a way of healing through art. Making art inspired by my childhood, nature and every day life is my muse. It has helped me overcome obstacles and keeps me happy.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s not an easy road to when it comes to marketing and exposing my art because nowadays social media focuses on businesses and not the artists/ creators who just want to share some art with the world.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I love doodling/ drawing or making illustrations of wholesome characters or nature that show love, femininity and kindness. I’m known for my cute characters that have blush cheeks and show their sweet side. I’m most proud of staying true to myself and healing my inner child through art. What sets me apart is my ability to convey sweet emotions through my art.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
An advice I would give is that once you discover you’re an artist, never stop.
