Conversations with Maria Júlia Veneziani Lage

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Júlia Veneziani Lage.

Hi Maria Júlia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Maju Veneziani, creator of the Let’s Travel the World.

I live in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil. I’m graduated in Publicity and Advertising and I’m getting a major in Traveling Management.

I have started this major with the intent of understanding more about the world of traveling and tourism, and so, bring more content to this project of mine.

My passions in life include photography, meeting new people and stories, and traveling.

My biggest dream is to travel around the world!

Let’s Travel the World was born from my huge passion and desire to unravel the world, that first started on my first international trip to the Walt Disney World, in 2013. Since I couldn’t travel all the time, I started to learn more about different destinations, mainly about the history of these locations. From that, I realized that gathering information in just one place, like the history, possible routes, curiosities and tips, would be a great way to introduce people to these destinations and help them on their trip, or that also want to know more about the world.

This way, the blog has the purpose to create interest about the many places of the world and of its history. The world is way too vast to know only one destination, so… Let’s Travel!

I hope the blog finds its place on the giant space that it is the Internet, that you enjoy our content and that it may help you somehow!

To take my love of destinations to other channels, I created Instagram, where I put on the world’s curiosities and tips. And I also created a podcast in portuguese with my cousin, where today we transform the posts into audio, but my idea is to conduct interviews with people who have already traveled and in the tourism area. My next goal is to create a Let’s Travel the World Youtube channel with vlogs, and knowledge about destinations.

On October 29, 2021, it completed 2 years of Let’s Travel the World. I hope there are many years to come.

Let’s Travel the World is the union of Traveling, History, Love and Dreams coming True.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s not been an easy way, which often makes me want to give up. A big obstacle was the Covid-19 pandemic, for not being able to travel and create content that I experience myself.

And because it is more historical and more elaborate content, people prefer more fun content and less text. So I have a hard time getting people to follow me and interact with me.

Because my intention is to bring knowledge about different destinations and cultures so that people are interested in destinations that are not so well known or even the best known, in addition to those who cannot know this world.

Despite all the obstacles, something always happens that doesn’t make me give up and keep trying to get where I want to go and realize my dream.

Small wins make me happy and closer to my dream, like growing followers and being called for this interview.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I graduated in Publicity and Advertising, as well as in Photography and finishing my Tourism Management college. I’m known as a photographer and by Let’s Travel the World.

I use my background as an advertiser and photographer to create content for Let’s Travel the World.

As I’ve always loved stories and history, I pride myself on passing on my knowledge of destinations and cultures. And this is my differential, as many places, both blogs and YouTube channels, only show destinations, without detailed explanations. As well as awakening in people the passion for knowledge.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
My parents support me and help me with research and divulgation. With my cousin Thiago Mantovani Veneziani shared the podcast. And the English blog is translated by my friend, Otávio Bernardi.

And the rest I do myself. But my immense desire is to have other people help me edit the videos.
