Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Barbel.
Hi Michelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born and raised in the Virgin Island, St.Croix. I am a professional self-taught photographer based out of Orlando, Florida. I am the owner of Lifestyle Photography. I’ve always had a strong passion for taken photos of my friends and family. The love grew progressively stronger three years ago, I started out taking outdoor photos until I opened my studio two years ago. My main priority is to capture timeless memories that will last a lifetime.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My challenge is working a full-time job while running and maintaining my small business simultaneously. Living in Florida, where they’re tropical weather sometimes the weather can get hectic at time, and that can be a challenge at a time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do enjoy searching for new props and backdrops to incorporate into my client’s photoshoots. I do events, Birthdays, kids cake smashes, engagements, family shoots, senior HS/College Grads, facial headshots and Holiday photos.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters the most to me is always making sure that my clients is happy and satisfied. Building trust with my clients is imperative to me and the best way to go about this is providing the greatest service possible. One thing that impacts me is the feedback and reviews that I receive. I think of this as a receipt of happiness!
