Today we’d like to introduce you to Nat C. Jones
Hi Nat C., thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As a teenager, I discovered my gift for teaching and speaking when I led Bible studies for kids. I noticed that I had a unique ability to hold people’s attention and simplify complex ideas, making them easier to understand. Throughout college and into my early adult years, I explored entrepreneurship while continuing to lead discussions with women, churches, and communities on meaningful topics. My aim was always to solve problems and bring clarity to issues that had seemed confusing. Looking back, I now realize that I was living out my favorite quote: “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” – Proverbs 4:7.
After graduating, I balanced part-time entrepreneurship with a role in local government, where I facilitated meetings and workshops for the City of Orlando and its communities. This experience launched me into community work and honed my gift for workshop facilitation. When my time with the City ended, I made the decision to fully commit to entrepreneurship as a Master Facilitator, vowing never to return to traditional employment.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been mostly smooth because I didn’t rush the process. I let myself be guided by God’s purpose for my life. What did that look like? It meant consistently praying, diving into scripture to strengthen my faith, honing my skills, and staying ready for the opportunities that came my way. The only challenges I faced were the financial hurdles that many entrepreneurs encounter, but I knew those were part of the process. I focused on budgeting wisely and keeping my faith strong, trusting that my success was on the horizon and refusing to lose hope.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Master Facilitator and the founder of Nat C. Company LLC, where I lead a team of exceptional workshop facilitators. Organizations bring us in to help solve their problems, and most business challenges come down to people. We are experts in people. To facilitate means to make processes smoother—reducing confusion and increasing understanding—and that’s exactly what we do. As my favorite quote says, “In all your getting, get an understanding” (Proverbs 4:7). I’m passionate about my work because we help leaders gain a deeper understanding of their mission, their team, and themselves.
While we offer customized workshops, our expertise lies in team building, strategic planning, and community engagement. We work with governments, ministries, nonprofits, and socially responsible corporations. What I’m most proud of is my team. A strong organization depends on a strong team. While the saying goes, “Teamwork makes the dream work,” I believe, “The Team IS the Dream.” In any organization, I see the people as more valuable than the mission itself.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I highly recommend checking out the teachings of Dr. Myles Munroe, Prophet Lovy Elias, and Dr. Myron Golden. These three men have had a profound impact on my life, helping me understand the power of my gifts, strengthen my faith, and transform my mindset from scarcity to abundance. Their wisdom covers everything from leadership and purpose to financial success and spiritual growth. You can find their content on YouTube, and I believe their insights will inspire and equip you to reach new levels of success in your personal and professional life.
