Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Caradonna.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since I was a very young child I had the capability of drawing , painting, & sculpting things exactly as the images I saw. As I grew older I started to sell my art and considered going to school for Disney animation but the sudden death of my father lead me in different directions and then started working in a theatrical costume shop where I sold Ben Nye theater makeup and learned the proper ways to apply it and so many techniques that I never knew. I then realized I also had the ability to work on people painting and regular glam as I did on canvas. Fast forward to now being a freelance makeup artist for the past 21 years going viral on more then one occasion for original looks I created being recreated by thousands around the world, being in commercials, Cosmopolitan magazine, Now this entertainment , Daily Mail, etc…. I gotten the opportunity to work with celebrities glamming them up for tv shows and I couldn’t be more grateful for choosing to be apart of the beauty industry. I’m a mother of 3 and my husband and children support everything I do, my daughter and I have been doing makeup collaborations since she was born and she loves every second of it, we’ve also won numerous contest together! I’m 41 years old now and am very humbled by all the experiences I’ve had and continue to on my journey and hope to inspire all upcoming artist on their journey as well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
