Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Gibson
Hi Stacey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started realizing my passion of beauty while doing my older sisters hair, she would show me what to do at the age of 9 and i would help her do her hair. Once i got old enough, my mom will let me do my own hair and thats where i started trying out new styles . Later on i started getting interested in makeup my freshman year of high school. I would go to work after school and during the weekends and summer break i would book clients and do their hair. Right after highschool i enrolled in cosmetology school and graduated in 9 months ! I started doing hair at home and traveling and eventually worked in my very first salon! I had a client come in and want a full hair and makeup makeover and i was so nervous and excited at the same time. By the end of her appointment she cried and told me that she had cancer and this would be her last time experiencing this before cutting her hair off .she expressed to me how good it made her feel and how happy she was with the outcome. I knew then , that this was my calling , my purpose . I love to enhance natural beauty and make people feel beautiful inside and out . Some days are harder and longer than others but i would not trade my profession for anything in this world ! I truly love what i do
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part i would say yes but it definitely comes with its own challenges. You have days where its slow or even days where you dont have any clients. Then there are days where your books are full and you could be overwhelmed or exhausted. definitely has its ups and downs but again its so worth it

I am a hairstylist and makeup artist . I specialize in hair extensions and braiding. Im mostly known for my knotless braids and my own makeup techniques ( bright under eye, fluffy big lashes, full glam!) what i feel sets me apart is my education and knowledge and care for the hair . Not only do i do your hair but i will also mantain and help you grow beautiful, healthy hair . I would give information on products. I communicate with my clients and help them where they feel they need help on .
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My grandmom, my grandmom was my number one supporter . She believed in my dream when no one else did . She invested in my first set of tools that i still have and use today . My sisters repost all of my work and allow my to try new styles on them. And all of my consistent clients who also shows support and challenge me to become a better stylist everyday
