Hi Tasha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been interested in the medical field. So when our kids started getting older, and I ventured back to work, I got involved in the Worker’s Compensation field. This was all new but still on the medical side of it, so I dove right in. Then, I eventually went to work for a Durable Medical Equipment company and learned everything and anything I could to help the claimants, adjusters, and nurses in the recovery. My husband had been working in retail for 35 years and needed a change. So, with much prayer, we decided to take on the journey of owning our own business. This journey has been long and hard, but it has been so rewarding in helping people in our local community. Our company takes pride in the customer service and products we provide. We are located in Fort Pierce, FL, and service the Treasure Coast of Florida. DME provides mobility, daily aids, wound care, ramping, and so much more for an affordable/reasonable price.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
No, getting accredited, licensed, and joining networks to build our business has been extremely hard. Getting a license took us over 1 year from start to finish. You need to realize that there are so many little things to do that are required when getting started. However, along the way, we have met a great attorney, accountant, and some helpful people on the medical side of the state’s industry to keep us on track.
I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We specialize in Durable Medical Equipment. This includes Mobility, Daily Aids, Wound Care, Ostomy, Ramping, and so much more. We rent items such as Wheelchairs, Knee Scooters, and Hospital Beds. We do special orders on items that are not regularly in stock. Our goal as a company is to deliver and supply the customer within 24 hours. Customer service and price will set us apart from all other DME companies in the area. We are proud to say we stand behind our Name- Right There DME- family-owned and operated. If we need something or can’t get you what you need, we will assist you in obtaining other contacts who might be able to assist. It is all about Customer Service. Companies only exist if they have customers, and our goal is to bring back the service and what it used to be when dealing with a company on getting supplies.

No books or apps. Lots of Google, knowledge, and brainstorming to help guide us through it all
