Conversations with TheCoasterViews

Today we’d like to introduce you to TheCoasterViews. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Our Youtube channel, TheCoasterViews, started back in 2009 when our founder Jasper researched this new video-sharing and social media platform and came up with a plan to utilize his passion for theme parks to build his own channel. With a background in editing and film making he uploaded his first video of Maliboomer at Disney’s California Adventure, a drop tower also called a space shot attraction, meaning it launched guests from the bottom of the tower and dropped them from the top.

After filming other rides at Universal Studios he applied for a partnership with YouTube but was turned down with the feedback that he needed content from other states as well. He and his mom hopped on a plane to go film the iconic New York Coney Island Cyclone which was built in 1927! He also was on a mission to film the world’s tallest coaster, Kingda Ka at Six Flags New Jersey.

He filmed, edited the content, and uploaded it, made him a partner, and monitored his channel. The rest is history. What started as a way to entertain people, with the help of friends and family he built his channel into a career through his YouTube partnership. His travels took him to Europe, Japan, and to many of the U.S. theme parks including the amazing parks of Orlando which brings some of the most incredible experiences and rides to the subscribers. His mission was always to bring quality content to people who enjoy theme parks and to those who may not have the means to travel to the incredible parks around the world. His legacy lives on with his dream and mission. His friends and family including his younger brother Hayden who is following closely in his footsteps continue to bring exciting content to TheCoasterView followers.

We look forward to many more years of being able to provide entertainment and follow our dreams of visiting every theme park that the world has to offer. We enjoy reading the comments whether they are talking about how terrified they were during their first experience on the ride, making a positive comment about a video, or a memory of a special time at the parks with family. We would love for you to join us on our journey so please subscribe/friend/follow us.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been challenges along the way such as the initial challenges of being denied partnership. To think that Jasper could have given up at the first email of rejection.

Also, branching out to other social media avenues and managing several accounts has been a learning experience.

Although we have focused mainly on our YouTube channel we are starting to reach new followers and build up our other platforms.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The theCoasterView team continues to strive to bring quality theme park experience videos. We want to bring content to our viewers that show a complete point-of-view experience.

We try to give an experience as if you were there with us and from your point of view. We typically refrain from talking too much or showing our team because we want you to have your own experience as if you were there on the ride or enjoying the experience with your friend and family.

Any big plans?
We have plans to incorporate more educational content into our social media.

We have found there is a growing community of theme park and roller coaster enthusiasts who want to know more about the details such as the designers, manufacturers, brake systems, speed, and other special experiences such as the incredible food that is offered and special events such as Halloween Horror Nights. We look forward to continuing to travel and bring the adrenaline and magic to our followers.
