Conversations with Tiffany and Justin Lausi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany and Justin Lausi.

Hi Tiffany and Justin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Back in 2020, the pandemic hit and we looked for an income that could get us through these times. So we decided to invest in our own company! Justin’s father worked jerky and when he passed, we tried “normal” jobs but nothing was as rewarding as our own business.

So we got our LLC and We made House Of Jerks LLC and have been growing ever since! We started with only a small market and grew into 8 markets a week and events! Owning our own business has helped so much and our daughter learn about the benefits of being a small business owner!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting this company up again during the start of the pandemic was a struggle in itself. The chances of people not showing, money problems, productivity, shipments, Covid! Also with Florida, you never know what the weather’s like! We also had changed local locations and getting used to all that plus work was a challenge; but worth it!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
People know us for our Exotic Game meats like Kangaroo, Elk and Gator, and more!

We also proudly accept cryptocurrency! We have lived in central Florida for our whole lives and have connections all over so when we show up, people come too! We also proudly sell Pans Mushroom Jerky from Shark Tank! Mark Cuban invested and we sell 6 different flavors! It’s kosher, vegan, paleo and so much more benefits!

We also sell a local batch of hot sauce called Mad Hombre! It’s a friend’s recipe and we sell it on our table too!

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
In order to have a great day, you have to have bad days. We have times when it rains and the markets are canceled so we lose that money. But we have to keep positive and keep moving.
